I’ve capped soul ash each week as well as completed the Bolvar weekly. I’m currently 30 soul ash away from being able to upgrade my legendary to rank 4. Is this intended? It’s near impossible for any other covenant aside from Night Fae to do the soul ash mission currently…

Damn imagine being as diligent as you guys are. I was using a token legendary until today because my favourite was from the stone legion generals. Just made it at r1 today.

I did an ash mission the other day as Necrolord without losing any units. 
Do other Covenants not get tank units?
I am with the Night Fae and only have heals and ranged/melee. No tanks. At least I don’t have any.

mission table quests awards 120 soul ash
They are not possible to complete as Kyrian
I know venthyr get them pretty late, and our healer sucks.
All the covenants can do them. I did mine last weekend on venthyr. Ive seen posts that others have done them.
If you’ve leveled your followers on the table you should be able to do the mission.
No rush! It is a marginal upgrade at best and doesn’t affect the effect!
Give me your strat then, because unless you’ve gotten lucky with your companions in torghast – it feels pretty impossible.
We do but the abilities of the mission are something like this: 6 mobs to kill, 4 mobs decrease damage done by 20 percent (80 percent total) for two rounds on a four round cd, two top mobs do aoe damage to all. My champions can barely match their damage output and have less health before the reduction. Champions are all above level 30.
