Well, world buffs are pointless during progression anyway. One wipe and you lose them all. When a wipe occurs, nobody gets new ones, you just keep going.
World buffs are basically for speed runs and parse runs, pretty much exclusively.
Yes world buffs are taken into account with raids… Than the nerf the raids cause people cry about their guild sucking and dmg goes thru the roof once people are actually geared and still have world buffs
As i stated I didn’t play som. I just read that they seemed unpopular.
They admit that they intentionally over tune the content on release because they did 0 internal testing and just guessed how much HP bosses should have.
I disagree, they don’t particularly have a reason to nerf the harder difficulties to make them more accessible, unless they start locking important things behind them, in which case … yeah it may not last long.
Fair enough. The things I provided to you are indicative in how they’re almost a requirement to participate in raiding (even though they’re not).
They’re just not popular for those who can’t handle PvP on PvP servers.
They’re also unpopular because people make them a requirement, even though the raids can be cleared just as easy without them.
I’m sure there are more reasons, but those are just off the top of my head.
