WDYM? I’ve been doing what I consider powerleveling lately but maybe I’m defining it differently. I think of it as just trying to find the quickest route to 120 possible and then beating your record on the next character.
I think he means paying others to ‘powerlevel’ you. I think there was stuff that involved freehold.

There are groups that will power level you from 110-120 through Freehold runs yes, but they will charge you gold
It is a thing. People still do it and it actually got a bit easier with the Party Sync feature. Been doing it lately with my daughter getting my Horde toons up, maybe saving a few hours in the long run.
It is only against the policies if you pay real money for it.

Quick off-topic question for you, but uh…
Are you, by chance, wearing the Yeti Woolies in-game right now?
How big is the power gap between an actual level 50 and a synced max level player? Can you one/two shot things?
Synched Max Level player will be 60.
They’re working on a leveling squish, as well as making leveling faster in general, I think. I’ve seen how BioWare did this in SWTOR and look forward to it. And I just am not going to level again until that hits; I’d bet pre-patch but obviously could be wrong.
The squish is all speculation other than we know it is going to happen at some point. I can’t wait though. Will make things a lot easier and save some time hopefully.
@Dellexi Mostly it has been to help me follow the quest chains correctly since I’ve barely leveled any Horde and don’t know the quests like Alliance. Since my toon is 72, she is 80. Not really that much of a power boost and definitely not 2 shotting things, but I am getting full experience.

If they half the levels, then it would take 2x as much exp for each level. the amount of exp needed for max level would remain the same, it just feels more like the levels matter.

Its usually a mythic geared 120 that does the clears for you.
If you’re already paying gold i would also upgrade your heirlooms to 120 for the massive xp boost and also use the 10% bonus xp potion. It’ll save you so much time
i have the heirlooms, where do u get the xp pot?
Vendor in boralus or zuldazar if you’re horde, you use the currency from the invasions to buy them.
interesting, i thought the legendaries with a 110 twink DH would be faster
They changed that a bit ago.
if you’re in a group with someone that is xp locked you will get severely reduced XP now so twinks aren’t good for boosting anymore

Level squish hasn’t been officially explained other than they are thinking about it and an email stating they were going to do it. Other than that, nothing official. There were some folks that gave their opinion on what they’d like such as a straight removal of 50% of the levels, ie. you log in at 60 instead of 120, but again nothing official.
