Is possible to find raid leader from wow logs

Hey so I kind of more urgently need help. I have a whole situation that has been going on for 3 days that can basically be summarized as

I joined a raid, messed up a mechanic, got kicked, they pulled while i was time teleported out, got saved to their lockout of the raid, then joined a separate raid while they were killing the boss (my lockout was still green). The game now thinks i helped kill the boss in the random pug i was in, but not the second group that i actually killed the boss with. I have only killed the boss once this week and I am on like week 12 of my fyralath grind so there is a high chance the legendary may have dropped without me there. I have received nothing in the mail, not even the things i normally get when i just teleport out, so I am assuming it bugged.

Before anyone says anything, i opened a ticket and have been copy pasted the same generic answer 3 times now. I’ve made multiple in game bug reports, and I’ve made a post about the bug in the bug forum.

BUT I REALIZED SOMETHING,
I realized that i might be able to track down the leader and beg him to invite me then convert to raid so that i can run in and loot the boss since, technically, i should be able to do that if the game thinks i was part of his kill. I have the wow log here if you go to logs and use this at the end of the html

I have been whispering random members of the group for 2 hours now with not much luck since ive only been able to find like…2 of them online right now, go figure, they are probably raid logging. I still haven’t found the leader of this raid, and im pretty bad at reading logs. I was wondering if anyone would know how to see who was the raid leader so i can add them on battle net and proceed to beg since that might be my only shot at this point before reset happens and my character becomes permanently bugged.

Im really desperate at this point

… You want people to tell you how to stalk someone?

That’s a new one, even for GD.

If you got something, you’ll get it in the mail. If there’s no mail, you didn’t get anything.

unfortunately this isnt a bug. it’s intended.

I mean… it isn’t that new.

Not stalking, just tracking someone down, i have no real interest in this person. Which i wouldn’t even have to do if Blizz customer support would read tickets instead of copy and pasting generic answers assuming I’m just mad I lost a roll to someone

And seeing as i didn’t get an essence nor the axe your theory of it coming in the mail doesn’t work. As if you dont get the axe you get a 100% drop chance Greater Essence of Fyra’lath

Okay.

Well, if you’re not concerned about the roll, you have your answer.

You did not get anything. You know because nothing was mailed.

Logs can give you a list of who was in the raid, but there is no easy way to figure out who was the raid leader.

Thanks for the help, that answers the question.

You did not get the legendary. You did not get a Greater Essence.

You got nothing in the mail. You got no roll.

Contacting this raid leader isn’t going to assuage that.

If you just want to run back into Amirdrassil, it doesn’t need to be the same raid leader. Any other player will do, as it will use your lockout if you’re lead and zone in 1st.

But it’s very likely that anything you haven’t looted is gone or in your mailbox by now if you’ve been outside the instance.

If it’s lootable.

There really shouldn’t be anything there, but I’m not gonna bother asking about the things that don’t add up.

Three days later? No.

If anything dropped for you, it would have been in the mail. GMs cannot do anything about raid lockouts.

I think most of this comes from the OP not really understanding how the lockout system works TBH.
