I’ve been dual gathering for hours and I’ve seen no perception procs. I have more % perception than finesse and I see finesse procs all the time.
I’m gathering on my Dracthyr, so I have a 2% perception bonus. Maybe it’s a racial bug?

It might be. Tough I did not even realize with ordinary gathering professions, but with fishing. Tough I realize it works a bit different for fishing. Yet even with 308 fishing skill, junk items are quite common when fishing from open water sources, away from pools.
I’m leveling my evoker just by gathering and at around 85% to level 79 I got my first perception proc on a verdant seed, are the other items not flagged for perception procs?
I also noticed that I’m not getting any of the blue rare materials when overloading nodes, I still get the overload effects but no rare materials.
Something seems off.
