Is pathfinder starting to get old?

there are ways to make things fun. not 1 way, but many. I advocate this.

There’s no point in speed limits because going faster is more fun.

Not sure what you can do with flying that you can’t do without it

i don’t understand what you are trying to say.

You don’t get to decide if it’s fun or not, the devs do so either don’t do it or do and don’t complain about it.
As you said it’s old content so it won’t be changed no matter the whining.

optional immersion! i haven’t played bfa so idk what i can’t do without either. but i do know the appeal was optimal when i was playing legion.

I like Pathfinder… I do not like waiting until the expansion is almost over before we’re allowed to finish it though.

Optimal immersion is on the ground, you know, where the actual things are.

im not whinning im advocating an optional way to do things. and i didn’t mention anything about old content, my concept and point of view is pathfinding in general and its…deterioration? i guess.

Pathfinder at the moment isn’t too old. It’s the asinine epoch between Pathy 1 & 2 that makes it ancient.

thats your point of view and you stick to it. but for me, i enjoy seeing mountains and stuff.

You can walk through the mountains. It’s not like they are off limits. Why don’t you try playing the game first before commenting anything.

I don’t mind Pathfinder - as long as it then immediately unblocks flying, and doesn’t require additional arbitrary hoops to be jumped through in zones we will never be able to fly in anyway.

I would also be 100% pro Pathfinder, if at the end of the xpac, it became obsolete and flight was purchasable with gold for returning players. Because none of my friends want to come back when I explain how flying works now. :sob:

i have played the game with pathfinding. and you can’t walk on all mountains. again, my point of view has to do with the pathfinding its self, not current content.

You are on the forum to make a point about something that doesn’t remotely need to be changed.
You’re claiming to be the decider of what’s fun and what’s not, I’m sorry the devs didn’t give you a way to instantly fly but instead earn it so get out there and do it, if it’s not fun don’t do it, don’t get all preachy about it on the forums.
As I said in another topic about the same thing, if you MUST have an option to buy it then I see the only compromise to be that you must complete WoD’s zone chapters before being able to, happy?

You should just be happy that you got a compromise on the issue.

It’s meant to be for when you complete all other Content.

Again meant to complete Content, just undermines everybody elses work towards Pathfinder, there would be no point to work for it if it’s just given to you later.

Couldn’t agree more

Seeing as how you can only fly at a time when it is mostly irrelevant during the life of an expansion, they have effectively removed flight from the game. Except for when you are leveling through older expansions.

im not deciding what isn’t fun, im advocating an optional way to make it fun. gaming is more about fun than work. why try to make something less pleasant when there are optional ways to make it pleasant? I intend on not doing things that aren’t fun. again, i say this about a method achieve flying, which is optional in nature.

I’d be okay with Bliz putting a gold bought option in as long as the cost is comparable to the time and effort that people grinding it out would be putting in. Of course, then you would just have people flooding the forums complaining that the price is too high and that they don’t have fun grinding gold either. Fact of the matter is, it’s hard for Bliz to put in an option to fit everyone’s needs here. Some people will have to just suck it up.
