Is pally actually slower

I mean I play on my warrior, druids, hunter, shammy and DH they all feel faster. Like just it feels slower when going after mobs. Feels the walking speed is just slow…… maybe I am just use to class with gap closer that’s on a short CD or have faster speed due their theor mastery. It feels pally is slow! Outside of divine steel it feels painful lol. How do you guys cope with it?

Yes, Paladin is one of the least-mobile classes in the game right now. You’re not imagining it.

Awww OK coz I just started playing my ret pally casually and for some LFR fights where you have to get out and get back in it feels very very slow is like every time I barely made it out without being one shot or I move out just a sec too late and died. Or gap closing without divine steel takes forever… With other melee class that I okay is so much easier……

The only class that compares to the slowness is a DK…this can be overcome by playing a Goblin DK.

There’s a reason the nickname of the divine steed is “the wheelchair”

I feel so slow chasing mobs or get close to the mobs…… coz divine steel is on a pretty long CD and I only have 2.

There’s a reason I rerolled Zandalari. When you’re mostly restricted to walking, any amount of consistent movement speed helps.

At least as ret you can spec into having two charges as holy I only get the one.

Fair is fair, as holy you can talent into 2 charges of Blessing of Freedom and Blessing of Protection while doing everything at range

Any tips to solve the issue or make it less annoying? Thank you!

You just have to plan ahead more with movement. You can’t make a positioning mistake and then leap out to fix it.

Let me know how that works for you

Went into The Black Morass dungeon and got to compare human movement speed at 100% and 108%(with cloak enchant.)

It’s not a lot, but you notice it in the quickened walk cycle! No regrets.

I mostly meant let me know how “doing everything at ranged as a holy pally” works for you. I’d be surprised if you could play this at any sort of high level

In BGs that is often the safest bet. And while you do get more from being in melee, you can afford not to run all the time.

Ret, on the other hand, must always be on their target just to do their job to even the basic extent.

I know a lot of Paladins miss Long Arm of the Law, but I miss the alternative: Pursuit of Justice.

Man, I miss PoJ, it’s been there since vanilla. Ret had always had walking speed increase! One of the reasons why I don’t like Legion rework.

But DK at least has a pull to bring stuff back to them…

Paly is the slowest…

Using 2x Divine Steed, Hindrance(lol, that is the name isn’t it?), and smart HoJ’s has me running laps around mobs.

If you think that’s laps you’ve clearly never played a monk or DH

You clearly like to jump to conclusions.
