Is Overwhelming Blades still on the chopping block?

These changes were noted on the PTR:

  • Slayer
    • Overwhelmed now stacks up to 10 times (was 12).
    • Culling Cyclone bonus Bladestorm damage reduced to 15% (was 20%).
    • Opportunist now increases the damage and critical strike damage of your next Overpower or Raging Blow by 25% (was 30%).

The following changes were already made this Tuesday:

  • Culling Cyclone bonus Bladestorm damage reduced to 10% (was 20%).
  • Opportunist now increases the damage and critical strike damage of your next Overpower or Raging Blow by 20% (was 30%).

So is overwhelming blades still going down to 10 stacks? This would really not help the case for single target, even with the upcoming changes to raging blow and bloodthirst.

Yeah, we haven’t gotten any more info to claim otherwise.

Most likely because they want to make Slayer unplayable because Fury isn’t the bottom DPS yet. We’re only bottom on ST, and bottom 1/3 in M+ and Raid so we need more nerfs.
