Is our cd window weak or am i doing something wrong?

So last expantion i feel like WW monk was all about burst windows, but the big one was when we had all our cds up, in M+ i remember that when we were pushing with some friends i used to call my target because i would delete that mob also in raid there was those 10~15 sec where i was on top of the metters, or in some sceenarios while we were doing prog on Mythic Nymue i doing most dmg on the mythic add, because our cd windows were so strong

Nowdays i feel like it’s just not the same, ww cds now feel weak, im not sure if im doing something wrong rotation-wise or they are weak

Also i would like to say that ww used to be recognize like the class that does well in cleave scenarios, but also ww cleave and AoE feel weak

The only thing i feel is going for ww right now is that we have decent ST not the best, not the worst, just decent, and again not thx to our cd windows is more like we have good consistent dmg and that’s all

what do you guys think about it? i would like to know how it feels for others WWs

Our burst definitely feels weaker. Though, I don’t think it’s a one answer why. Amp values were definitely nerfed with SEF and Invoker’s Delight, but we also got stuff like Gale Force that gives us smaller gaps in amps for mini bursts. Could be a mix of that and our base abilities just not hitting that hard. And with the whole shift to haste, perhaps there just aren’t enough 2ndary stats to get us blasting yet.

And yes our AoE is sad. It’s been an eye watering descent since Legion. We went from very consistent and strong aoe that was enhanced and not as reliant on our CDs to basically RNG roulette. And while competing against dps is always in our thoughts, beating other dps doesn’t really matter when packs dont die in a timely manner because at the end of the day packs have to die.
