During MOP I would use the site Openraid i used it soso during WOD but havent used it since. When i went to check it out the other day it didnt seem like how i recall it has this site DIed?
Death by LFG tool, just like oqueue. You also have discord channels for finding what you need

and i assume the new Community service didnt help any.
I’m curious why you would want to use it when the LFG tool exists.
I haven’t seen that thing used since MOP.
You really comparing the LFG tool to openraid? Alright I’ll give one example, I can signup weeks in advance on OpenRaid

Now, will you actually show up weeks after in Openraid, when nobody else is using it today either because they’re using Discord and LFG?
It appears to be dead now, something happened behind the scenes and derailed the whole site apparently.
I used it as recently as Tomb to get my Micronax pet, sad to see them go.
It will also notify you via email and if you have your email synced to your phone then it will show up on your phone.
Was a great page with a great community.
I used it during legion to kill mythic guldan during the last weeks of legion.
I also got the chosen achieve and title from there.

It was amazing for organizing achievement/quest runs, especially for harder ones like the ICC Legendary quest.
I personally used it to get some of the older raid metas, the ICC Legendary, Micronax from ToS in Legion, Herald of the Titans and a few other things. Generally anything that is hard to organize on the fly and interest was limited.

I was planning on useing it to get some of the achievements that require multiple people to actually get them.
When it was sold and the original team left, it died. With LFR and Discord being as powerful (and useful) people just look up io scores and see the level of content that person has done and invite based on that.
Pretty much, its initial death knell was the introduction of the Premade Group Finder but since then it’s been bought out twice with the most recent owner just buying it to sell the account information (like emails) for spam advertising.
