The top 2 comments on WoWhed say people aren’t getting the title and are assuming it’s a bug. Before I go in there hoping to get this, I want to check to see if it’s worth my time.
The title earned for slaying Al’Akir in heroic difficulty(On either 10 or 25 man settings) in the Cataclysm raid, Throne of the Four Winds.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. The raid difficulty Heroic back in Cata was like Mythic now.

This just happened to me. My mage has killed him dozens of times and only today got the title.
Maybe it is buggy? I only did once or twice in Legion and have the title.

To all the people having trouble with this achievement…just do slow dps, you mustn’t burst until he throws you up in the air
With that said i killed him in his first phase, which probably never was intended. It might just be that you have to wait a little while before you kill him
