Only if they can bring in a Greek/Roman inspired playable race, as it was the Greeks who came up with the concept of Hyperborea. The closest thing to that were the Ogres on AU Draenor.

Playable Ogres with them considering the Vrykul as Hyperboreans could be a good way for them to start a interaction or conflict.

Some scholars believe the Vikings were the inspiration for the Greek tales of Hyperborea, we do have Vrykul there and the Sons of Hodir Frost Giants. For those claims that Hyperborea was technologically advanced we do have Titan complexes, yeah maybe Northrend is Hyperborea.

Only if you went to the Tundra. Then it is Hyperboring.

For a moment there I started hearing

“First, they took your family and your riches…”

I had to look what the meaning was and I’m surprised. I wish I took the genetic test to find more of the ancient past . Would make a good tale to give to my nieces and nephews .

I once went to Northrend, it took me 3 years to escape the Borean Tundra. I was dying of boredom because each quest required a ton of effort

And such a wonderous Hyperborea it is what with the North Sea reaching it just as it reaches Exile’s Reach and Northrend(though not the Dragon Isles which is east of Northrend yet north of Exile’s Reach).

I wonder what the borders for the North Sea are since they dip down after passing Northrend bypassing the Dragon Isles and enveloping Exile’s Reach and Quel’Thalas.

  1. Flat Azeroth theory (joking, but would be crazy funny)

  2. We circle the globe

  3. New hidden continents. The LF Draenei on the Vindicaar would just say, “You guys know there’s another side of the planet, right?”

This one would be my ideal since, just like how Earth has a north and south pole, Azeroth should have one too. The south pole of Azeroth could be Hyperborea.

Where’s the Borean Tundra? There Howling Fjord in the east and the Boring Tundra in the west.

Azeroth most certainly has a North Pole but why does the North Sea only encompass Quel’Thalas, Exile’s Reach and Northern Northrend despite not encompassing the Dragon Isles at all despite the Dragon Isles being north of Exile’s Reach?

The Dragon Isles are visibly part of the Great Sea but why the Great Sea and not the North Sea despite the North Sea being due south of the Dragon Isles and encompassing Exile’s Reach and Quel’Thalas?

I don’t know, but there’s quests there that put Shadowmoon Valley to shame.

ah champion! You must return to yon mining camp and slay 42 wizards. And when you return, I need you to chuck grenades at the floaty platforms then I need you to descend into the pit of Mannaroth…I mean Gammothra. And when you’re done I need you to translate Murloc into Orcish.
