Is it worth leveling on Nightslayer for TBC? My main goal will be raiding but I’d like to pvp as well on the side. I keep hearing about the prices on the AH compared to the pve server and how the economy is bad because of all the gold buying. I don’t want it to be where it is difficult to buy things in TBC on the more expensive server.
If you like World PVP, then Nightslayer will be the place to be for TBC since Outland is much smaller than Azeroth.
On the other hand, if you really do not like World PVP, then come TBC perhaps Nightslayer ain’t all it’s cracked up to be (since Outland is smaller than Azeroth).
That’s up to you if you like world PvP or not?
Still didn’t mention world pvp.
Those of us not wanting to deal with world PvP went to Dreamscythe, zero regrets. Healthy all round.
Sounds like you answered your own question
Imagine all the absolute worst people that play wow and imagine they put 95% of them on the same server. Thats Nightslayer. Dreamscythe is a completely different(better) experience, and don’t fall for the “world pvp is fun” meme, there is no balanced/fun world pvp, only people ganking level 20s and hearthing if they see 60’s come to even the playing field.
things are going to be more expensive on nightslayer but everything you farm will be too, idk if it’ll even out though
Are you even going to get in?
I can’t play SoD because the only type of server I want to play on, RPPvP, is locked out.
I almost didn’t even get into Nightslayer myself because of the lockouts
I got a toon on chaos bolt so you can make all the toons you want on CB, how much you got in the piggy bank? jkjkjk
I wonder how many hours after TBC launch it’ll be before someone is already on a flying mount attempting to gank level 58s.
If you want decent arena teams, nightslayer will be the server to go on. Dreamscythe have no idea what PvP is
All real RPG’rs play on PVP servers… IT’s fundamental.
You are exposing yourself as a raging carebear with that question.
The answer is no
Probably the dumbest comment I’ve read this week. Gratz!
Things are 100% going to be expensive on nightslayer in tbc.
Flying mounts kinda kills wpvp anyway. Just going to be a worse experience.
there’s no reason to play nightslayer for tbc just buy the lvl 58 boost when tbc comes out
If you thought “Welcome to Hellfire” was bad on Classic/Original, you’re in for a dark, dark surprise on their forced megaserver.
It will be the classic “wonder if i can zone out of the dungeon and reset and get back in before the raid team outside can global me” with a mountain of skeletons in front of the instances.
Will be lame how everyone will have tens of thousands of gold by time it comes out. Epic flyers right at 70, every profession maxed, dungeon/quest gear useless due to tier 3
Skeleton Carpet Unnerf When.
I can definitely see that. Last go around I skipped TBC and but came back and leveled at the end of it for wotlk. My retail guild chose the pve server Mankrik and it was impossible to find anyone queueing for arenas.
