Bursting is actually harder in low keys compared to higher ones. You are much less likely to 7 stack in an 18 compared to an 8 just by the health totals being larger and less likely to line up. Also bursting, like grievous, does not scale with key level so regardless of what key level it is the party takes the same amount of damage and punishes lower geared healers most likely to be found in lower keys (as opposed to the 475 healer in a 16 you get the 440 healer in a 7).
It can be with PuGs, thing is M+ can earn gear comparable to Heroic / Mythic raiding. It’s best to try find a guild and use Discord for it.
Yeah I too been there, I got all jobs 80 on my viera and did Savage clear of Shiva.
But WoW gameplay is a different then FF14. It’s really communication that helps because the whole thing is on a timer, it’s not like doing learning parties on FF14 and then going do it for clear.
But yeah bursting weeks are probably best to be avoided for now until you get to learn Mythic + a lot of people said about it already so I won’t say more.
~80% of M+ is navigating trash pulls in a strategic and effective way. Really, handling pulls is the challenge (aside from a couple of bosses who really check healers, like Triad).
That said, they aren’t that mechanically complex. I’ve found guides can often feel overwhelming when the reality is not so.

Also, I know it can feel scary, but as someone who dove headfirst into tanking M+ (and who is also 447 ilvl) – it is very rewarding and very fun. Start with some M0s, and work your way up to get more confident.

Ty for the tips. I went with abunch of undergeared guildies into a temple +2 for my first last night and we wiped on the thunder guy like 4x. The clear method I cooked up was me soaking almost all the debuff stax for the group. I had like 38-40 stax and swapped touch of the everlasting in for my major to cheese it.
Did WM next in a pug which went smoother, although I forgot to respec grip so when the healer kept pulling more and telling me to kite them I died inside a little because I was stuck with wraith walk lol.
Little mistakes to clean up and with mods I know I could clear much higher than 2s. Time to build my resume
