Well, no, it isn’t. Look, I understand that some people are frustrated by the nerf in drop rates, but let’s be honest; in BfA loot rained from the sky but meaningful upgrades were so few and far between that all you were really getting was scrapper fodder.
This is week 3 of 2 years worth of content. I’m sorry that you all aren’t maximum ilvl after such little effort but for the love of all that’s good and right in the world, stop complaining for 2 minutes and use a little logic. Just because you were breezing through +15s at the end of BfA in top tier gear doesn’t mean you can do the same thing week one of a new expansion.
Say what you want, flame me all you want, the slow boil of progression actually feels right for the first time in a long time. Each and every piece of gear that DOES drop feels meaningful and much like an accomplishment.
So no, Mythic+ is not a waste of time, nor will it be. It is simply going to take a little more time to get to where you want to be.
That will entirely depend on your play style and what you are trying to achieve. For those that don’t consistently do H or M raids then M+ will basically be their end game. On top of that each season will see a bump in ilvl rewards as well.
Loot rained from the sky due to auxiliary systems. The act and (correct) criticism that these lessened the impact of loot does not inherently mean that people want loot rates chopped down. The simple removal of warforging, titanforging and the like would have been just fine.
…nah dude. If every piece of loot matters and you get 50 pieces a week, there’s no point to continuing with the game. Gear progression is done. Take BfA, if 1 piece out of every 5 mattered, you’re still gearing slower than in SL.
drops 210 gear. Soon as we clear heroic and start Mythic, M+ gear is useless.
Do mythic for a chance at 233 gear in the weekly box, or at the very least 226. Only thing M+ is good for is praying you get the trinket you want, so like a 3% chance to drop.
Secondary stats still make lower ilvl pieces better in many cases.
I never minded all the loot in bfa because you were trying to rng good stats from all that loot. Occasionally, you’d get a titan forge, socket, or corruption that would make a difference.
But without them fixing secondary stats, not every piece of loot is meaningful - still. Now it’s just way more of a grind.
Just another way of making players feel like they’re being hazed with time- played padding strategies.
Sorry I should have clarified then: Mythic + gear is useless to anyone who actually needs the gear to push content. To people who don’t actually need the gear, it will still be valuable
Do you even play the game rn or just don’t know what you’re talking about?
You know heroic was so overtuned this week that the best guilds in the world couldn’t do most of the raid, and the ones that could were 6 healing every fight. My guild decided to go clear normal rather than waste our time getting no loot.
The best guilds literally cleared heroic. Shows how much you know. So… again, if you were as good as you think you wouldn’t be just downing 1 boss lol and trying to act like you are VERY good
