People will mostly go to retail from Cata or just quit. The start of MoP will be huge and it will fall off quick.
I wish they would just stop after mop. We’re already getting legion remix. That’s good enough.

Just to clarify…no Legion remix has been announced. There was some hint in the roadmap.
And MoP remix didn’t stop them from doing MoP classic.

They already announced MoP Classic. Get ready for The War Within Classic…they will relaunch that one too. Also in a worse state than the original version. They are bascilly launching WoW 2, but are doing a terrible job at it and releasing “Classic” versions that have all been worse than the original versions.

You underestimate how much people loved MoP, beside the weird panda it was a really good expansion.
Even if its weird to use that judging from MoP remix the participation was really high and stayed decently high the whole thing, I bet MoP Remix was a test in some shape or form to see if it was worth doing MoP classic.
If they do Legion Remix it might be another test to see if its worth doing Legion Classic.

MoP was a weird one. I was very turned off by the Panda theme and didn’t play for a while, but eventually really liked it. I would say it was the last time the game was casual friendly, since WoD added Mythic dungeons and gave casuals the boot. Sadly, MoP Classic will won’t be nearly as good because the Classic version already has Mythics crammed into it.
Beyond that I think Legion has some potential simply because there’s a ton to do with class hall campaigns. Unlocking all the artifact traits, appearances, order campaigns, followers, mount, titles, armor set, mage tower, Suramar, the Broken Shore, Argus, all the world quests and bosses. There really is a ton to do.

Agree Legion has tons of potential especially if they fix the legendary issues day 1 and give us the 7.3 currency to buy them to negate the garbage RNG luck which is what made Legion bad for many people.
I would agree with this 100% if the Inferno dungeon were more like WOTLK Gamma dungeons but they are not, they are pretty much normal heroic that just take longer to beat, no extra mechanics or anything, that’s pretty much it so I wouldn’t call that mythic in any real shape or form for now, since the difficulty between heroic and inferno is so small.
I’m looking forward to MoP Classic for one thing: the CM sets.
One of my biggest WoW regrets is not getting the DK and Shaman sets. I won’t be making that mistake again…

Some people seem to want to compare Cata to wrath. I don’t care about wrath. Atiesh has many more people than I need to have fun playing. That’s all that I care about.

Content is too hard for people and yall are soft and cant handle prog.
People really have gotten a warped perception of a healthy server size thanks to megaservers. I’d take a ‘normal’ pop server any day. There’s an actual server community and you can still get everything done.

Either way it goes, im playing retail. Ill do remix to get all the rewards like i did for MoP remix, but i dont need to keep replaying the same things ive already done.
All these versions fracture the player base and make retail worse.
