Is Moon Guard really that bad? I keep hearing about the Goldshire inn on Moon Guard? Do people still do that?

No. It’s only the Goldshire inn and even then, you don’t hear anything from anyone. They keep to themselves.

yes yes it is that bad. and its been emptier now than in recent years, pre cata you couldnt see the floor there was so many toons during peak hours now the peak pretty much is non existent and once it hits about 2am people are pretty much gone.

they even pee in the moonwells that tailors use for tailoring recipes let that sink into youre short term memories
Moon Guard’s a normal server. Everywhere else is fine. Goldshire’s “activities” are real, but they’re pretty self-contained to that one building. It’s not a big deal. You easily forget it’s there.
Unless you’re into that. Then I recommend it. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I mean there’s really nothing wrong with ERP anyways. Its reputation is weirdly judged everywhere else. But it’s only a very tiny non-important part of the actual server.

It’s not that bad. There’s just a ton of booba in the Goldshire inn.
Which makes it even better.
It’s pretty easy to avoid.
You know you can actually go to Goldshire on Moon Guard and people won’t usually bother you or ask to ERP with you or whatever? People act like it’s something out of The 120 Days of Sodom but it isn’t unless maybe you want it to be.

I mean, last time I was on Moonguard there was tentacle stuff in trade chat.
But that was years ago.
The only actual bad thing about Moonguard is that they’re worse at the game than the “bad servers,” but they’re nicer people so you feel bad about wanting to avoid them.
It isn’t, just don’t go to Goldshire.
MoonGuard has been my home since 2010. If you’re looking for server community you definitely got it. The big RP guilds and their leadership have been around for years, and it’s always a pleasure to see folks like the Stormwind Guard on their same patrols I’ve seen them on for quite awhile. Same with other big guilds and faces.
MoonGuard also has a wide variety of happenings in different parts of the world, it’s not just about endgame progression like other servers, resulting in a dead world. You can find lots of wandering folks in MoonGuard. Definitely will never leave.

MG is normal and I’m pretty sure the GS people stay there and keep to themselves. I like the RP servers because people tend to be a lot more sociable.

I play Horde almost exclusively these days, but Moon Guard is a fun server for Alliance.
Yeah, ERP exists there. If you’re uncomfortable with that, avoid Goldshire and state you’re not into it in your RP profile.
Otherwise, all the trouble is almost exclusively caused by the “tourists” that just created a character for that reason.
