so im trying to smelt some ore and wham it nothing… is it broke by the recent patch?
Yes it is , we need to wait for the indie devs to fix it
What kind of ore are you trying to smelt? I just hit up a character with mining and a few classic ores lying around and was able to smelt them just fine. I had to open up the mining journal and filter it for classic and it showed up.
I know I heard about ores that are guaranteed to smelt into 2 bars (tin?) tending to not actually make 2 bars at a time…
Basically anything that creates multiple items has that problem, actually – producing significantly less than the average you’d expect (i.e. a recipe that produces 1-3 items only giving ~1.5 per craft, when you’d expect ~2 per craft).
To piggy back on this, Legion tailoring is broke without some scripts. You can’t use the tables to craft the recipes when the NPCs require you to use their mats and tables. At least some very awesome wowhead posters have consolidated all the required scripts for the tailoring quest chains.
I’m not sure if other professions have the same problems, but it is likely if other primary professions in Legion have similar quests.
it was some classic ore. but no option to smelt it near a forge
I cant smelt anything at all. There are no recipes that show up in my mining journal for any xpac, including shadowlands. Have checked 2 different characters.
