Just got disconnected while I was mind controlled by a priest in solo shuffle. I was able to log in without getting booted from the match but we lost that round. I got a vid of it too.

mc dc has been a thing ever since mc was a thing. sometimes it’d dc the target, sometimes it’d dc the priest user.

anyways, the patch seems to have made it act up a bit more than normal, but mainly to targets.
The best is when they MC you and try to ram/jump you against collision to try and force a dc

Yeah it feels like it’s been happening more frequently since Tuesday. It happened 3 times while I was queuing on my druid yesterday
Once to me, once to my healer, and once to a shaman on the other team
Happened to me the other day on the first MC. Does seem to be happening more often.

oh dang thats why i see people randomly mcing me into walls
i wouldnt bother because a lot of the time it’s not intentional, even if they are running you into a wall.
i mc people into a wall all the time, but that’s because i’m trying to shimmy along the pillar to avoid purges and stuff.
I had a game where my partner got mc’d and disconnected, and as soon as he got back the priest went for another mind control and dc’d again.

They should make your character fly up in the air a bit while MCd or float and see if this resolves their pathing issues.
Idk at this point let’s all offer crazy ideas that might just work. Clearly changing the code isn’t an option as they’ve stated.
happened to me the other day… been a thing for the last 5 years at least. its ridiculous.
I don’t know, in an era where the forums explain how to do it and then seeing higher rated priests MC me into a wall right behind me and continuously jump into it really makes me question if it is not intentional.

Mind control dc happens all the time now. I experienced it maybe a few times in all of my time playing WoW until the past 2 months where I’ve had it happen to me or a teammate at least 5 times if not more.
I’ve dc twice since Tuesday. Doing mc but jt was on my self. Not the enemy

I’ve had Priest legit try and cram me into tight corners and repeatedly jump and down and make my screen erratic.
I think the game has some failsafe to dc what it thinks is fly hacks or wall jumping. That’s why DH’s dc a lot if they spaz a lot while fel rushing mid air
It’d happen once every lets say 100 mcs last patch. I’ve had a few this week already, I was on the winning side of it but it’s never good too see.
