Honestly they havent even completed due diligence yet so the purchase price could go up or down & Microsoft can still say yay or nay.

Thats not how it works , Bill Gates wouldn’t be involved in the production of wow , blizzard will still have an independent board even though Microsoft own the business.
if the merger goes through the corporation will be called “ Microsoft Activision Blizzard King “ with all 4 entities having independent boards.

to be honest all i want from microsoft if the purchase to go through is for the employees to be treated and payed better, Activisions upper management, rules needs to be removed and dismantled, would love to see Warcraft , starcraft, big story games come back, so sick of everything being live service from blizzard these days. Now as far wow in general? hard to say, i think cleaning up the management crap, all the internal crap will help, and its possible microsoft might throw more cash at wow so they can team up even more, i think there is still to many things they have to cut due to time.

Blizzard have an independent board but the majority of that board besides the CEO & President are Activision members.
Yea except the fired WOW director admitted that in the end it was a hostile takeover masked as “you can still work independently”
