I’ve found the new system even easier than the previous 3 seasons. People are able to farm aspects and wyrms with only 1 affix, and wyrms with no affixes. The dungeons are recycled with no new m+ dungeons so everyone knows the fights and it’s been faceroll to 10. I haven’t tried 14 or 15 yet but people were timing them week 1 so they must be tuned way lower than previous higher keys that those are now equivalent to. I think they are trying to bring in more of the player base to higher end gear faster and with less work this season because it’s not a real season, but maybe they will take this same easy tuning to the next expansion.
idk what you mean
you need +6 for aspects
Depends who you ask. People are getting destroyed in M+2s right now.
People are getting destroyed in M0 as well.
Ppl getting destroyed in +2s and 0s suffer from one or all of the following: need to learn their class, don’t know mechanics and undergeared.
I should note this is my experience, I’m aware there are players in low ilvl that spend no time or gold on there characters that struggle, I’m talking about a typical player that does care about the character and has played the class/role before.
If I take into account that the keys are at a lower range then yes, I’d say this ranks into one of the easiest season I’ve had.
Though my general way has been;
- Do 2-5s first week.
- 5-8 second
- third push into 9s and focus upgrading champion gear.
- eventually push into hero gear and KSM.
The keystone switch up meant that the first two weeks would be the same as M0’s. I got bored of these and doing last season equivalents of 14-16s already. The fact I’m attempting 6+ already week two (yes with some difficulty) is a great sign. I accept a ton of this is also me feeling some pressure to push higher faster due to seeing my guildies do well (some are 10-14).
I timed my first +10 today (resto shaman), and I’m a little torn on the difficulty question. I think it really all depends on who you play with and how well those people do mechanics, interrupt, CC. A VDH tank in the group also trivializes more challenging fights in ways that other tanks can’t.
You could say that this was true last season too, but mechanics are more crucial in this set of dungeons. There are more mechanics that will kill people (or the whole group) if they are not played well, and as a healer I feel less capable of compensating in these situations. Then again, it’s still early in the season.
I can say the AA +10 I timed was substantially easier to heal than a AA M0 I did a few days ago, with similar gear on my part (509, then 506). Tree boss, trash (in spite of bolstering), Vex - it all was very easy, simply because people played well and outgoing damage was good. I’m confident I could have healed this a few key levels higher also, and I’m a very average player with not all that much resto shaman experience.
But I’ve also been in groups that depleted 6s and struggled in lower keys that had a hard time getting past some bosses.
I think getting into M+ is a harder this season if you’re an average player (like me), only PUG or don’t have experienced friends, more so than last season. I rarely fully PUG and usually grab a friend or two. I’ve also intensified my social-networking and actively befriended players I met in keys. Only pugging would no doubt be a much worse experience.
I think you hit it on the nose
I got destroyed in M0s week 1.
But now it’s gotten a lot easier with gear(was 476 week 1 vs 507 now)
Once you get gear the keys feel easy. Especially between them. Like the difference between a 2 and a 3 is nil. I did 4’s this week that felt like a breeze. The issue is the heroic → M0 is a massive jump, but once you can figure out how to do 2’s you’ll be fine and able to climb as your ilvl climbs
Wait until TWW launches and things get nuts when we all have bad gear again
run some 15-20’s. get out of them easy 5-10’s then. problem solved.
Certainly easier than S1 and S2. That’s because we’re able to gear faster, the dungeons were nerfed multiple times in previous seasons, and we’re not dealing with the S1 seasonal affix.
People get destroyed in overland >.<
Probably the easiest season of the four.
Yes and no.
No if you were pushing last season, this season is pretty meh, if you are new this season or were not in like full hero gear/myth gear, this season sucks.
Also the pushing to make M0 as hard as they are was actually stupid, the cruch was not needed it was just blizzard not being able to let things be.
THAT SAID, blizzard kinda started this season off in the worst way possible. Week 1 was tyrannical, which is the worst way to start a season, then week 2 is bolstering fortified.
ive had 5s be clown fiestas and 13s be smooth as butter
i find this season fairly easy (though s3 of DF and s4 of SL seem easier)
They are pretty easy. But this is lulz season with loot pouring out of the woodwork so that is fine.
Get free 480s for standing around doing actually nothing, BiS items on a vendor, plus all the upgrading that made S2/S3 easier. Low keys were “hard” in week 1. Now they are only hard due to people still wanting their free carries simply for bringing the key.
Yea i got 2k this weakend and i did not even try that much
