Dead is a relative term. It’s late on a Monday night. Only ones playing are those who stream and those with 2 hours to themselves before work tomorrow.

Unless you work at 4am, are putting kids to bed, still working on stuff for tomorrow’s meeting, etc. Regardless of the clock, it is a Monday

Regardless of the day and what your own personal circumstances are, it’s still peak time for most people who have a normal, not needing to get ready for a meeting, don’t need to wake up before the chickens play time. Even with kids, you would be playing at say 8:30 instead, maybe 9.
For most people this is an optimal time to play, it has been forever and will almost certainly continue to be forever a good time to play.

This is the biggest rub. All these “no tanks or healers applied for 4 hours! Not a single one”
No…they were there. Just none hit matched your overly unrealistic expectation checklist.

Riddle me this, what happens when you log in outside of peak? I tried the other day, it was outside peak for pretty both US and OCE, like too late OCE time and too early US time. There was 1 normal raid total listed and about a dozen heroic raids.
You would have to be living under a rock to not know the general peak play time is for most players, and that players are taking breaks earlier this season than they ever have, it doesn’t mean no one is playing, it means less people are playing.
Yeh, and I’m one of those weirdos though that prefers to play at this time. I also can’t complain if I get less groups during my own play time, that’s my choice, although I still do find raids and keys enough to entertain me.

Yes, but good news, Blizzard plan to cripple Delves to funnel players that don’t want to be there back into your groups!

It drops a trinket many players want, although I know a couple who have also given up on farming it because it’s just too tedious these days to go 50-100 runs of a dungeon for nothing.
