Is kicking someone in M+ just before boss down reportable?

So heres the story.

Running through an M+11 Junkyard.

Tank is smooth everyone is smooth, no troubles. Druid dps (leader) dies every boss except one. so i comment “druid didn’t die that boss :O” however, next trash pull he dies and i say “spoke too soon lol”.

Those are the comments i made throughout the dungeon. The whole dungeon was smooth an easy.

However, JUST as the boss is about to die, the druid kicks the tank. (i guess he doesnt get credit?).

We all write wtf happened. but apparently the druid PL was suppose to kick me for being toxic but accidentally kicked the tank instead.

I whisper the druid and ask “what happened? i thought we were all good?” he then start to abuse me in whisper and logs.

I reported the druid and was thinking about writing a ticket on it, but i dont think its worth anything?

I feel terrible for the tank and I’ve tried contacting him to offer him some carries in M+ or maybe tag along to my guilds H alt runs in nylotha.

is this type of behaviour bannable or at least constitute some type of punishment? The tank was doing so well and he really wanted this timed (and we did).

Was i really being that toxic? i honestly thought the whole vibes were good but apparently the druid PL took offence to what i said…

EDIT: i just want to clarify that i only said those 2 comments once after the 3rd boss. i did not repeat it at all.

And on another note, people have clarified that once that key is set in, every player is locked into that dungeon regardless if theyre kicked 30seconds into the fight or 30 minutes into the fight. they will receive credit and rewards.

Furthermore, due to this clarification, kicking someone at the last 2 seconds of a boss literally does nothing, so there’s no point in it. (which is in this case).

Nope.

Best you can do is put him on /ignore and move on with your life.

The internet allows people to act like their real selves, and the real self of a lot of people is that they are jerks.

shouldn’t have commented negatively. Sounds like you deserve it

Best thing is the people that kicked you isnt gonna get punished

Him kicking the tank (intentionally or otherwise) isn’t against the rules but the whispers could be, depending on what he said.

Did i really though? was what i said really that toxic? I will seriously consider those comments if you really think so. I dont aim to be toxic in this community. Think i just made a bad call.

you understand you are just hurting yourself in a M+ if you kick them b4 a boss, even if you 4 man the rest of the instance that person still gets credit and possible loot mailed to them in the dungeon =p

the boss was at 1% when the tank was kicked.

First off, my experience tells me the 99% of WoW players are THAT sensitive, yes.

Now, in reality NO, not at all “that toxic”. If you can’t even ‘jest’ with someone then it’s time to just go back to the nest and grow a couple hairs, down there…

I find it funny when people say PvPrs are toxic, M+ players are way worse.

It’s hardly the worst thing I’ve ever seen but I can’t say that making fun of strangers for an entire run is harmless either. It’s one thing if you know someone and have developed a rapport but when you don’t know them it just comes across as mean.

Being mocked for your failings is never a great feeling. Did you think the druid was unaware of the deaths? So why the commentary?

If you want to give someone useful commentary that might actually improve their play, have at.

But yeah, it’s just being a jerk to make a point of remarking on what everybody already knows.

it dosnt matter if the boss was at 1% or not a single mob killed once that key is in, the party as locked and that person still gets credit if completed and possible loot.

wont worry the tank will get the kill and if had any loot will be in the mail box wait for him as well as a key completion for the week. I’m looking at your rio but I’m assuming it on an alt?

I really hope that is case.

I just want everyone to know i feel really guilty, especially for the tank. i know its hard to find a good pug and time keys, especially at lower levels…

go look him up on raider io it should show it =p

This is currently my main. I was one and off throughout BFA, uni commitments.

If you finished the key, the tank does get credit. I mean they could have kicked you mid run and if they finished the key, you would have gotten credit. (It’s not reportable).

Maybe next time you should just keep your comments to yourself, they don’t usually go over well. (Most of the time if and when I’m doing bad, I know it, no one needs a constant reminder from someone that they aren’t playing up to par, especially by others in a key, and it’s a +11, who cares).

no I mean the +11 JY that you’ve done. Looked at your rio and highest you’ve done was a 10. Saying that if it was a 10 it shows completion w/ the tank you’re with on there

Oh yes, my apologies, it was a 10. Sorry for the confusion. Im glad the tank gets credit. puts my mind at ease.
