Is Khadgar really dead?

He said that this is not the real fight! Does it mean that he sent one of his mirror images? So, if that’s true the mirror image of his Atiesh staff broke? Should we have hope that we see Khadgar again in another action in this expansion?

What’s your opinion?

Well, Atiesh is now destroyed, it was broken in two pieces and now mostly turned into… splinters again?

Perhaps a new legendary quest is on the rise.

I doubt it… it wasn’t dramatic enough imo, at least compared to other major character deaths

No body, no death.

I am hoping that he managed to get himself out of there because I really like him and don’t want him to have died :frowning:

I doubt it, honestly.

I didn’t see any corpse, and even if there was a corpse there’s always Shadowlands 2.

If it happened off screen and he is an old character, he is still alive.

My opinion is he’s a mage with substantial arcane power, he’s not dead he got kidnapped as Xal’atath supposedly has ways to turn arcane magic to void. She probably wants him all to herself for all we know

We didn’t see Varian’s body either…

Like varians body isn’t there it’s dust. Get off the copium

Rule #1 of storytelling in these sort of stories: No body, no death.

He’s probably missing a hand if he’s not dead, though.

It would be so rude if you could scroll over a pile of dust and it said “Archmage Khadgar” or “King Varian Wrynn”

Saurfang had a proper ending, fitting at least. ← My go to example for this.

This was pretty subpar and fast for Khadgar… I doubt we saw the last of him.

It was fake tension to keep a drive in the story for impactful reasons.

Kind of cheap points to score there lol

We watched Guldan burn Varian alive. There was a dead body. Or… well, a pile of ash.

If no body was discovered, I too claim no death. Maybe very seriously injured, but no death.

I tend to agree … however I really don’t care one way or the other, I’ve never been a fan of his and if this is his end then it’s fine by me.

After the 1 nethershard thing in Legion, I will never care

I hope not. I really like Khadgar for being above the faction divide long before it was cool and trendy.

He’s flying far North of the Priory in Hallowfall.

There is no death in WoW only the Shadowlands and other timelines. Which is why none of this makes any sense…

He was also desintegrated my guy…
