Yes. I’m a mog aficionado and I’ll typically never need on a piece of gear if someone else could use it for actual combat (unless it was a super small ilvl upgrade, like 3 or 4 ilvls, then I’ll consider it.)
People telling you to Need on everything you can are just greedy and selfish.

Agreed. Don’t need on it if you have a stronger item and the appearance. But your slight (temporary) ilvl upgrade isn’t more valuable than a place in my wardrobe closet.

Please feel free to explain how a temporary increase in power, especially in an expansion where there are multiple ways to obtain equal or greater power casually, should somehow grant you entitlement to a drop over an appearance that may only be obtained from this instance.

does not matter if its temporary or not…and hey some people actually do LFR for gear since they have no interest in mythic+/regular raiding.

You can get competitive gear from primal invasions and weekly world events.

does not matter and sorry but if its an upgrade they NEED the gear and if its transmog then you do NOT NEED the gear because your not going to equip it.so no youd be the one who WANTS the item not NEEDS it.

What a stupid argument. You need higher ilvls to do harder content. You don’t need your mog to look nice in order to do anything.
Oh? What harder content are you using that gear for? The lowest level M+ provides equal or better rewards. Conquest provides equal or better rewards. World content provides equal or better rewards.
I say this as someone who benefits from gear drops in LFR btw. I’m not outgearing LFR. It’s just asinine to believe that your temporary upgrade entitles you to something over someone else’s appearance collection that they may be running for.
You’re not doing extra work for that reward. Often times the ones in there for appearances are helping carry you through it.

With your reasoning, the loot doesn’t matter to begin with.
Transmog last longer then the ilvl that gear has. Especially when you can easily outgear the stuff from lfr from world content or dungeons.
Basically you are expecting people to do lfr for free when they are geared and pass on loot for you that they are there to get and overgear. The creation catalyst is also timegated so the best way to get these mogs is from doing the raids.

Dropping this for the ones that feel entitled to LFR drops because it’s an upgrade for them. Maybe they’re unaware that there’s more to do than LFR to get better gear.
LFR’s for all of us, not just the laziest of the lazies.

You are correct. I don’t believe I’m entitled to someone else’s drop because I want the appearance. That’s not the discussion here. If you win the roll, congratulations. I’ll try again next time.
You’re just not entitled to my loot because I have a better piece of gear equipped. If I have the appearance already I’d usually offer it up when it was personal, or I’ll pass on it now, but if I don’t it’s going in my wardrobe if I win.
We all have the same chance of getting it.
