I have an alt army and it’s a lot of work, so I am wondering since patch is next week and season ends, isn’t the vault shut down until the new raid starts?
You can still get vault credit and Tuesday you will get a vault with season 1 items. So it depends on if it’s worth it to you or not.

Depends on your luck. I don’t even bother with the TW dungeons anymore because they give dupes and terrible rewards for me.
I’m mainly a tank and all my tank toons got awful rewards for weeks. Bad rewards, old content=waiting for the next season. 
That’s all I needed to know, thanks. Some of my people are still under 600, so it would be nice, but now I can pick and choose who actually needs to do it and who not.
Might wanna get 3 slots for 3k gold

if you get your vaults this week and next season starts next week… if you claim your vault rewards on “wednesday” would it potentially have the new rewards? 
dont bother come s2 chapion gear that drops from end chest in m+2s is 639 item level that can be upgraded all the way to 658 AT 8/8
Unless there’s something you desperately need like some currency or crests and things, I wouldn’t worry about it. Or at least not on all of the characters.

Doing minimal passive content is 3k gold from any level of vault cap. Multiply that by all of your alts and you’re rich
3k gold is nothing
Better than doing pretty much nothing all week because it still get me the bonus gold and rep from doing something like world stuff and delves, add in as the person above you and after me said and if I multiply it on my alts and that can be a lot actually.

If it’s fun do it, if it’s not fun don’t do it. There is no objective state of “worth” in a video game beyond that.
So I think the answer I’m looking for is whether we can still upgrade S1 gear along a track next week (after the 2/25 patch). I’m mog chasing at the moment on alts, but it’s likely I would need to both get a piece from vault and then upgrade it a level or two to get the correct color for some of these characters.
There’s no doubt that crests and stones are resetting by S2 start (3/4), but I’m struggling to figure out what is and isn’t reset/functional in the in between week. In my head, I’m thinking that if new story quests are out, those are rewarding gear on the new S2 tracks (albeit very low), which makes it seem like they would have turned off S1 upgrade tracks. But it also seems very odd to think of getting a piece from the vault that has a fixed ilvl and no track.
