If you’re bad at M+, maybe? KSM is the participation trophy.
Because the team has 30 people to gear up?
You are yet again making overarching statements about an entire community. I couldn’t care less if you are forced to or not. Matter of fact, please reduce it to people who want to run keys. Don’t speak for us, thanks ![]()
I am not terrified of it or know people that are so maybe don’t generalize ? I get that you are angry and the subject passionate you bro
Gotta check the date of this post, it seems like it must be from the past. My experience in this expansion has been robust. Our raid team got to heroic while still earning our two-piece tier sets (way ahead of schedule) and our team almost caps raid size. Delves are very popular. It’s crazy, players are on at four in the morning and late at night.
Im not worried at all.
1 tier item drop over the span of 3 week, you have 5 boss dropping tier at 3 loot or more depending of your group size, no I don’t think its much to ask, specially when most guild run RC loot council and keep track of everyones gears.
In 2024 saying that they should split gear between raiding and M+ is kind of like saying they should make hunters carry bullets and arrows again.
Very boomer take.
1 from freebie (KSM), 1 from catalyst, then you distribute any tokens to the people with the strongest tier sets. But it’s still gonna be 2-3 weeks before the low-end people have their 4-piece (although they generally don’t care about it if they’re that low in the pecking order).
You said " you can show up to first raid night with KSM" which is a lie. Blizz bowing down to industrial raid complex didn’t release m+ until a week after heroic. I gotta get back to work. What worked for me was a soon as I got what I needed from raid I never stepped foot back in there. Have a good weekend
Wouldn’t work anyways - the ideal stat weights for M+ and for raid are virtually identical, save some preference for AoE in M+. No idea how they’d even incorporate this.
Bro, noone is forcing you to do anything. If your raid team is that toxic, bounce.
Find me a Cutting Edge raid team where nobody does M+.
He’s given his (bad) idea before.
And it’s to make M+ gear have a different ilvl entirely if equipped in a raid setting. Similar to how PvP gear is handled.
It’s basically just Brewa’s way of saying “Blizz should do a lot of work so I can raid log from day 1 of the season plz.”
Seems ok to me ? the alternative is to wait for 1 charge of catalyst every 2 week or pray for tier in vault( on a side note, anyone noticed the HUGE DROP RATE of tier piece in vault from Delves, feels weird)
Surely it’s dawned on you before that some raiders genuinely enjoy doing keys? That they like the challenge just as they like the challenge of mythic raid?
Why do you, and others here on the forums, speak of M+ as if it’s some horrific hurdle that nobody actually wants to do?
Sometimes I feel like the world is spinning off into space…
Cutting Edge raid team is less then 5% of the wow population, should we really use them to judge the state of the game ? you can’t compare people that probably game on wow has job to the casual joe.
So what happens to me, and my friends, doesn’t matter because most people don’t play at our level?
And THAT’S why funneling people into M+ is a good idea?
(Not even taking into account all the people who don’t do CE raiding, but despise M+ and have to do it.)
These attitudes we’re seeing in this thread is what has driven many people from this:
“People shouldn’t have to do M+ if they don’t want to.”
To this:
“Delves killed M+? Good.”
For real. It gives small group content that you can run with your spouse and group of buds for decent rewards. If anything, toxicity seems to imminate from raid leaders that no longer hold all the power over loot and how others spend their time.
