You can take heroic raid gear into mythic raid. High keys are an equivalent to mythic raid.

Trinkets and Tier pieces, lets be honest how many people put up with raiding at the start of a tier simply to achieve 4set faster and lets not kid our self, this IS the only reason why catalyst have charges and are always delayed.

Which do you think Blizzard designs Mythic raid around - people only having a couple of Hero-track pieces they got from raiding, or people having almost entirely Hero-track pieces they got from M+?

Fastest way to get 2-set is from M+, though. You could get KSM for the freebie token and catalyst a piece of gear before the first raid night.

They design it around World First Raiders doing it in sub heroic gear based on ridiculous splits to get the absolute best gear from raiding. CUZ RAIDING HAS THE BEST GEAR! They were running alts upon alts through just for a chance at the rare ring to drop warbound to send it their main.

False. AOTC is much quicker to get than KSM and m+ wasn’t even open yet. Raid was open a week before m+ further strengthening my argument and weakening yours.

The world first raiders aren’t doing it in “sub heroic gear”, 1st mythic Silken Court & Protoss Lady kills were raid-wide ilvl 622.

You’re just wrong about EVERYTHING when it comes to raiding.

I’m just going to say that this is an awful and contradictory take. 1. You should absolutely be able to gear up any way you want. 2. Your gear should work the same everywhere (see 1.) If you want to dip your toes in other content, you should absolutely not have to start from scratch each time. We’ve gotten away from having to carry multiple gearsets for different roles, we’re certainly not willing to go back to that nonsense for different content.

Heroic maxs out at 626. Sub heroic is less than 626. So wrong again.

Oh, there’s the old “but muh bag space!” counter. Which a little creativity would make a non-issue.

M+ players are TERRIFIED of people not being forced to do M+. That’s the problem.

why do that when you could wait to get 2 piece either from 1 piece from raid and 1 from vault and THEN use catalyst and ksm if you are good enough to achieve it when its relevent to gain 4set ?
