It depends how it’s handled. You’d need some compelling answers to a couple of simple questions from the perspective of the characters.
1.) Why would she want to come back? There is nothing left for her. She cares nothing for the alliance or the horde. She holds loyalty for no one other than herself and is willing to sacrifice anyone, including her own people to further her goals, which is what again? It would have to be shown that her time in the maw with Anduin changed her on a fundamental level somehow and her outlook on everything has changed. And if blizzard did that, would she even be Sylvanas anymore and would her fans accept the shift in character?
2.) Why would anyone in the horde or alliance accept her back? What position would she hold? What role would she serve? Outside of a few loyalists, even her own people don’t want her back and no one else trusts her at all. If she was truly changed by her time in the maw with Anduin, he would have to do a mighty sales pitch to convince everyone else to let her back in the fold.
I don’t know who is in charge of the narrative now, but I don’t have a lot of faith they’ll thread the needle on this one.
If they would dip more into their allied race leaders as of “today” in Azeroth, they would have some viable options. As is, they feel a little lackluster, but they have potential if Blizz sets them up well.
I can’t get over how boring her design is, it’s just a generic thalassian elf hunter with Thas’dorah; there are like 20 of her in Silvermoon and Stormwind at any moment.
Say what you will about my deliberatly going for"I miss Silvermoon" as my transmog mood, I am not headlining two whole expansions with that voidified eversong ranger look.
you know tho they could have at least out the bottom hair in the hood and made the hair change to whatever hair color you have . that way it wouldnt clip ik they can do it they do it for her player npc model . >_>
also i want a separate set without the dark black leggings too options are cool .
we have nazgrel, gorfax, eitrigg, thura, jorin deadeye, master gadrin, rokhan, eitrigg…
blizzard prefers to forget that all these characters with incredible backgrounds have more than 5 minutes of screen time, because they are too busy simping for couples thrall + jaina and baine + anduin
the problem here is blizzard, two siege of orgrimmar looks like a joke, fire all of the writers and the problem may be solved in due time
