…Ok then at that point you’d gut the whole concept of the “new” Horde, since the point was to get rid of a Warchief altogether, which was incredibly influential on Orc culture.
When it comes to “spiritual leader” would be again Thrall or his wife Aggra. Any other viable Orcs are either too old, not influential, or flat out dead. And if you did the Orc heritage quest, it was essentially both Aggra and Thrall who are doing what you’re asking, which is finding their OG culture again (talking to ancestors, nature, spirits, and elements) and not zug zug kill all the things.
Drekthar is indeed a wise old shaman.

I also specifically mentioned Thrall just being the orc leader and NOT the warchief.
And as I mentioned, while they are doing some leadership/representative stuff for the orcs. Officially they are not the racial leader.
For all intents and purposes, isn’t he already the orc racial leader by sitting as the their representative on the Horde Council.
He sorta is representing the orcs on the horde council right now.
And again, he is doing it in an unofficial capacity/he would probably step down if the orcs do decided on a new leader.
I think I read it in a short story. He is the official rep of the OG orcs. And the female garrosh is for the maghar.
In game it’s been like 5 years, wasn’t he the one that pushed for that Heritage Armor festival thing to come back?
If he wasn’t official before, he sure seems official now. It’s just that, because the Horde is now run by a council, being the racial leader of the orcs is no longer very special, outside of I assume being the target for the Alliance Faction Leader raid group.
I feel like this is going in circles.
Thrall is, especially after BFA, the defacto “leader” of the Orcs, as much as he keeps whining about how he doesn’t want the mantel Warchief he is the voice for the Orcs in the Horde Council (which means he represents the Orcs so just like let’s say American poloticians if you’re representing a state, you’re in a leadership role). (Hell, it was Thrall, Baine, and Lor’themar who came up with the idea of the council.)
At the end of the day they essentially turned the Horde into the Alliance.

Pretty sure Garrosh is more than a little bit dead (and his soul obliterated).
It’s a fair bet that until they come up with another main orc character then Thrall’s most likely to be their representative on the Horde Council.

Orcs traditionally follow the leaders of their clans, which in turn follow the directive of the Warchief. With the Warchief replaced with the Council, it stands to reason it would be about the orc representation on the council now.
Thrall joined as the representation of the orcs of Orgrimmar. Like each leader on the council is to their respective race/state.
Aggra is now the spiritual leader of the Orcs and their traditions.
They just need to make Thrall Warchief again. Get rid of the dumb council, have loa Vol’jin chilling in Org and allow me to make Bwonsamdi my spirit healer.

I’d prefer one of the Peons in the Valley of Trials works hard and becomes Warchief, though every now and then needs a rest.
