Specifically the Mail Muncher and the Black Serpent of N’Zoth.
This may be weird and random to say, but these wiggly lads are actually my all time dream-mounts in WoW.
BFA was my first expansion, and the end of that era with the N’Zoth stuff really blew my mind and captured my imagination. I saw other players with these serpent mounts, and I knew how rare and hard to get they were. It completely grabbed me, but I was a very casual (and quite frankly bad) player, and I never even came close to obtaining one for myself.
I always just sort of assumed that Blizzard removed the methods of obtaining these mounts once the expansion ended, but looking at the comments on wowhead I see people are still finding them? Is this true? Would it be possible for me to go back and get a worm?
Over the years I have since collected other mounts in the serpent model type, such as the noodle dragons, but I have always wanted one of the N’Zoth serpents.
I received both of them recently, so they are definitely still obtainable! I did everything on a level 70-73 character that had already made a good bit of progress in the visions. I also needed reputation in the assault zones, so doing assaults and dailies in Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms, I received coalescing visions, a currency that I could use to trade to Wrathion in the Heart Chamber for vessels that grant access to the visions. There is one daily in the major assault that you can enter a mini vision to gain a chunk of currency.
I would usually do a handful of visions a week to work towards the achievements (which grant the black serpent mount). After I felt I had enough sanity to get through a full run and was familiar with the route and had completed the objectives I sought after, I also opened the mailboxes to look for the mail muncher while on the runs. You can find some player-made maps if you search google for mail muncher mailbox locations. Taking my time and doing a little bit every week made it easier to get through, so pace yourself if it seems like a lot.

If you didn’t do much with them in BFA, it may take some time to get through, but it’s worth it. Filling out the Titanic Research Archive and upgrading the cloak made them easier to farm as the sanity drain is negligible. Once I got all the masks, I activated all of them before each run and would kill everything in the instance to collect more mementos for the achievements.

If you didn’t know, there is a Slime Serpent you can get pretty easily from Plaguefall if you are dying to get a serpent mount right away.
