I’ve seen dozens (if not hundreds) of players AFKing battlegrounds this week. Is it worth reporting them? Is this allowed now?

Non participation is still against the rules, if you see alliance premades throwing games, report them for cheating.

Just premades? Or should I report all players I see AFKing in AB?
If the latter, I would be opening hundreds of reports!

I’d report each and every one, but I’d do it in between ressing so as not to be considered afk too.
Similar to what happened in wotlk classic with all the DK bots who circled the map in the same route for months.
It took awhile, but Blizz eventually dropped the ban hammer.

Reporting 9 players every 4 minutes will result in you getting banned, not them. I’m certain Blizzard is aware of their grave error and will attempt to fix it. You spamming them about it isn’t going to help.
False reports will get you banned, so do what you will

I’m on the Horde, I play every AB. I cap mine and then I go kill the afk alliance at their starting area and then I kill whatever alliance pop up at their graveyard until we win
But I’m just giving a warning if you report multiple people per BG you’ll trigger their internal false reporting flags and you’ll get at best a warning or at worst you’ll get banned yourself

There is irony in your statement since by getting in the way of the fastest honor route, you are leeching off your team mates. AB was originally designed to be played in a certain way, but Blizzard just made the goal of the game to lose for Alliance. So you are the one getting in the way and griefing your team by capping. This is Blizzard’s fault, not theirs. And you should be reported for griefing your team.
I understand this is an absurd situation, but that’s due to Blizzard’s ineptitude, not your teamates playing the game correctly, as dictated by design.

I noticed you didn’t provide a counter argument.
Blizzard has designed an AB where the best way succeed in it is to let horde win every game. You getting in the way of AB being played the way it’s designed is deserving of a report for griefing your own team.
Yes, Blizzard should change this hilariously bad design. But it’s not the players’ fault for playing their design properly.

Revert the honor to 0 for anyone who participated and encouraged other players to give up after losing BS or to not even try at all. They added the 2 mark for a loss in good faith and you guys took advantage of that. I guess this is why we can’t have nice things.
