Is it safe to use JoyToKey?

Hello!

I would like to use this shareware called “JoyToKey” (JTK) to map keystrokes to my gamepad.

This way I can play Classic WoW on my TV from the comfort of the couch: the dream!

But, since JTK is not open-source, I’m not sure if using it would be confused for malicious scripting.

Getting the banhammer for this would be a nightmare, so I want to make sure it’s safe before I proceed.

Blizzard generally doesn’t comment on 3rd party software, other than to say it is not supported. If it does something other than 1 button press = 1 key press then don’t use it.

I play from my couch, just bring your pc in to the TV room and hook it up. It’s not rocket science.

I roll with the 50 ft hdmi so i dont have to move computer. Muhahahaha. Ill never get married
