I am really considering making a Vulpera after the rep restriction is lifted with pre-patch. I REALLY like their character models and their zone is my favorite zone ever; aesthetically. I also kind of like the Vulpera story.
Now to the question: how many of you Vulpera are actual furries or is it all just a meme? If so, do you get harassed by other Horde members for playing a Vulpera? Am I a furry for wanting to play one? And finally do you really think it makes sense for the Vulpera to be in the Horde? And how would you justify it.

I think theyâre cute, but I have a tendency to enjoy furred races more. Idk if that makes me a furry though

If I make one I donât want to be a joke D;
I only get teased by my friends and FiancĂ© for playing a Vulpera. I wouldnât exactly say Iâm a furry but I do tend to lean to races that are animalesk. I play a Vulpera 1 part for the memes and 1 part because I like the aesthetic

I mean I guess they kinda fit the whole âstruggling to get by in a harsh worldâ vibe the Horde kinda has/had, but in reality none of the Horde races make sense for the Horde.
It should just be Trolls, Orcs, Tauren and HMTaurens. Even Taurens being in the Horde still is kinda stretching it.

Itâs a squares and rectangle kinda deal.
Not all Vulpera players are furries. But all furries play Vulpera.
???
Have people not actually played the Horde campaign in WC3?

I have never once harassed, nor made comments involving Vulpera or their players. However, the problem is that some people on the forums take it too far with their names and the whole âUwUâ crap, which leads to a bad reputation here on the forums itself.
If you wish to play a Vulpera, no. It doesnât make you a furry. You can enjoy a racial aesthetic in the game without it being some kind of negative stigma. I enjoy Worgen and Tauren. It doesnât mean Iâm a furry either.

They were an oppressed race that the Horde freed. Why wouldnât they be grateful.

i got a few randoms doing emotes at me. But no idea how much of that was because I used my vulpera on forums or just because.
I doubt it has any real connection as vulpera=furry any more than druid=furry or pandaren=furry
just like Night elves arent all survivalist preppers and humans arent all unoriginal noobs.

No, not all vulpera are furries⊠just like tauren, pandas, and worgen arenât either. That said, there are a lot of furries in the game playing vulpera and worgen

Iâm not a furry and Vulpera are my favorite because theyâre super cute. I like the way armor looks on them, their proportions, animations, expressions etc., and Iâm happy to see other Vulpera around. I seriously donât see how anybody would bully you for playing one. Just donât put âyiffâ in your name and people will leave you alone.

I have, but the recent stories in WoW have done wonders to wreck it.
How can the Tauren, who have a somewhat neutral/friendly standing with the NElves stand with the Horde after Teldrassil?

You can play whatever you want. Donât ever let other peopleâs opinions dictate what you do.
I do see plenty of Vulpera characters running around, so you definitely arenât alone in wanting to play one.
I think they fit the theme of the horde perfectly. They are rugged nomadic survivalists who have survived oppression and harsh environments. A race that has defied the odds and lived on.

During Teldrassil, Sylvanas sent Baine and other Taurens as far away from Teldrassil as she could.
After Teldrassil, the Tauren, lead by Baine, were the main race which opposed her.

I remember a time before furries were a thing. Should I go back to all the older games and now consider them weird because of what a group of people irl do with such avatars?

all of them
yes the do
only if you sexualize it. But people will think you do anyway

Baine literally did nothing the entire expansion. He led one undead boy to Jaina (which led to nothing) and then sat in prison while the big boys and girls did all the hard work.
He is all bark and no bite, a spineless, cowardly, pale image of his father.
