Is it really the bot's, or is it the

People who have 60+ maxxed alts with maxxed professions/gathering and AH addons so they can be a WoW billionaire who are screwing up the economies?

Yes, people are logged into their 60+ alts playing the AH simultaneously using their botting TSM addons. Am I doing this sarcasm right?

It’s a combo of players like me who have been playing forever and Tokens more than anything else. A lot of us who played WoD and Legion made millions of Gold with Mission Boards.

There are botting discords with tens of thousands of active players in them. Occasionally they show off videos of their farms. They trade their gold to throwaway “clean” mule accounts to then RMT off of, since bans are too slow and seldom.

I don’t think any player is going to be a “billionaire” from gathering. It was never super profitable outside the six to eight weeks after a new expansion released.

Bots will always be more productive at gathering because they can run 24/7 and they can use low cost equipment to do so since its simpler math without needing graphics.

In addition to this, Blizzard made profession mats region wide in the auction house. So you’re competing against people on 400 servers in the North America region. Finally, there are unlimited resources. A node/mob will respawn in 10 minutes or less. Just farm it again. You can just sell the spoils to a vendor and still make some income.

A little of column A…a little of column B.

Plus there is overlap between the botters and the people with a million alts.

Even the wowmarket discord that claims it is clean has hundreds of “verified” traders and those given with roles also sitting in bot and rmt discords.

They literally blamed SoD gold RMT bans as being false positives to gaslight the community.

it’s the WoW token. That’s a big part of what makes Classic > modern WoW.

Aren’t they the same thing?

Bots = Hundreds of “players” (just one person)

Whale with alts = Hundreds of “players” (just one person)

It’s weird to me that someone can do the same thing, that isn’t a bot, but yields the same results, and that’s allowed.

I miss when I could get rich from gathering on one character, but those days are LONG gone, like last viable in TBC and Wrath/Cata.

assuming they are running one character at a time…uh…no?

I think what we can take away from that video is that people would rather bot wow and play solitaire rather than play wow. Thats just sad.

Moo!

This planet is a weird place with weird beings that do weird things like this and people wonder why aliens don’t wanna come here.

OP, it’s definitely the bots.

Running that many VM’s isn’t really possible for your average script kiddie. That is a business operation.

People with 60 alts aren’t screwing up the economy.

They’re too busy leveling alt #61.

I just started in Classic, and for my level I’m pretty rich all by my own doing.
No wow tokens here, and currency has meaning.
It’s refreshing, and I’m in good shape for my first mount. :+1:t5:

Altoholism is a disease. Please don’t blame the victims!

There’s no way for the WoW economy to not be a mess unless you remove ALL trade between players.

Even if you have a million alts playing more than one at the time isn’t possible.

Me with my 25 miners that I am logged into 24/7 manually playing them all at the same time.
