Pretty much title, I am wondering if I would be able to solo the glory of the legion hero.
Most of it can be done alone, but there’s a few achievements that are impossible to solo and need a full group.
Two achievements you can’t solo;

Rest imo are relatively easy.
Dang, a full group! Yikes I just recently came back to game and I’m finding it hard to make any friends in game at the moment.
i did it the first week of bfa solo
Yep. I think it was I Got What You Mead and Poor Unfortunate Souls are the two you need groups for. You can try putting an ad for it in the group finder, see if you can fish up some help.
Try the group finder - helped someone with older expansion ones the other day.
(Asana one sec ahead of me haha)
You don’t need friends

Only people who want the same things you do
I see people in group finder for this stuff sometimes. Just start your own group and see what happens.
Appreciate the tips guys, looks like I will try to get these achievements out of the way before shadowlands!
You also might need a 2nd person for Black Rook Moan, depending on what CC you have available on the toon working on the achievement. I had to drag a buddy’s druid a long for his Entangling Roots when I did that one in my DH.

Vault of the Wardens is now way overtuned for “Who’s afraid of the dark?” Although the requirement is to follow all the mechanics while not holding the light, you won’t get credit if you do that. What you need to do is one shot her before she goes into the next phase.
No, every “Glory of ----” has a achievement that requires multiple people.
Don’t be discouraged, as they didn’t mean (or shouldn’t have meant) a full raid group; just a full normal group. You need 5 people for the linked achievement up there, which honestly isn’t too bad. For Raider (not hero) there is also one that needs 10 people, which will probably be more problematic if you want that one down the road. It’s called fruit of all evil.
I would highly recommend you browse over a guide on how to do these, as sometimes, it’s really easy to mess up what is seemingly a simple achievement. Also, some achievements are worded poorly. The two linked above are two you’ll definitely want to see how to do on wowhead, for example.
In addition to what’s been mentioned here, you’re doing this at a good time.
I would suggest joining a large guild. In my experience over all these expansions, I frequently find that guilds will be running glory achievement runs during times of content drought.
You can solo thundering, icecrown, cata hero, cata raider, Ulduar, and DS off the top of my head. There are probably more.
Some of them are tough, and take significantly longer (we’re talking 4 weeks for one of them) than just finding a few people and blowing through it, but you can definitely solo them.
Oh god, I thought I did it in mop but apparently I did it a month before MoP came out. Solo’d the Nerf Scrapbots achievement as a hunter, that was such a monumental pain in the butt lol.
Ahhh yes that’s fair. I did mine on a druid and forgot about how op roots is
