Is it possible to play WoW

with an Xfinity rented modem set to High Security instead of Medium Security? I get error BLZBNTBGS80000011 if it’s on High Security.

Did you or can you open ports?
Off top of head is 443

Probably not. In this Xfinity support document, High security is described as “block most applications except web browsing, email, iTunes and VPN”. I think you’d have to switch to Custom Security to micromanage which ports are open.

I just noticed that in my account settings I have these default settings checked which i never checked… and it won’t let me save changes to them while I am on the site with High Security on…
