Is it possible to always be in Visage form?

I’m new to Evoker and I found myself really not liking the model, but I definitely enjoy the mechanics of the class. Is there a way to always be in visage form during battle?

Nope, there is no possible way. Best you can do is just turn on chosen identity and it will auto turn you back into visage mode when combat ends.

It was kinda annoying for me in the beginning but now, I hardly even notice it anymore.

Yeah, in the spell book there is a spell called ‘Visage’ which lets you to stay in visage forever, even in combat.

The spell ‘Chosen Identity’ is what lets you go into dractyr form in combat then visage out of combat.

Evokers can’t stay in visage forever in combat. That is only for dracthyr in other classes. Evokers whole animation set is based on the dragon form so it will always be dragon form in combat.

Oh that super sucks for them

It really doesn’t. Visage shouldn’t even exist, imo. The class identity revolves around dragonkin abilities and breaths.

Eh it makes sense. Unlike dracthyr for other classes, evoker is based around dragon spells.

A warrior can still do warrior things in dragon form or human form. A human form breathing fire and flying around…

Yeah, it really is a shame. Evoker is super fun to play and has some amazing looking tier sets, but you got suffer through the crappy lizard form whenever you are in combat. You can manual activate visage in combat, and it’s even off the global cooldown! But depending on the spec you are playing, you will be forced back into the substandard dragon too often for it (whenever your cast disintegrate, pyre, any breath spell and hover) to be feasible to maintain. Healers can spend most of their time visage’d, though. So there’s that.

Thankfully, the enchanter professions can make you temporary illusions that let you imagine what it would be like to play the class on a real race, including letting you see your mog in combat. Just another shame about the cooldown on the gleeful glamours.

you can be in visage form 100% of the time if you play the dracthyr race but any class but evoker…

but dracthyr evokers cannot be in visage form in combat, it is not possible.

i would suggest buying a lot of savory deviate delights and/or noggenfoggers and use those 100% of the time.

It be tad silly to see visage humanoid form do breathe like “I goanna burp!” and belch flame…

For Breath and flying dragon stuff is fine, like I try to Do this balance of split personality mind when I play my Evoker, As when he human He Moderate and Focus on using magic to show his power but when he his “true form” He cast of pretentious to use his dragon like form a force that he have enough games and mean it.

All in all, I don’t mind shift

But again I know it different stroke for different folk on visage, but I laugh if I elf like dragonman do breathe and look like he belching fire.

Nah it should. Let people play the way they want. In fact, I am still a proponent of Worgen getting the Drathyr treatment and be able to stay human even in combat.

point at mages using dragon breath

Hell, you can even look at monks that use Fire Breath.

You want to be a human, play a human.

I despise the fact that they allowed Dracthyr of other classes to stay in Visage. This is the horrible precedent it set.

Or play a worgen and be worgen when you want to only. And I am glad for this precedent.

can’t play a human as a druid, though.

you can play a druid as a worgen, though.

see the problem here?

That mage… I talk about magical flame in gut… Or do I have to get into “magical fart” like south park game “Dragon shout” of lighting a Bic and belch into flame like Monks… they got that.

Good for you. It’s crap and thankfully it’ll never be that way for Evoker.

Don’t care. You’re a Worgen. Period. End of story.

No, because there is no problen.

Glad we cleared that up.

Another one of these horrible threads to mute.

Lol, coward is afraid of people with opposing viewpoints.

Not yet, anyway. Maybe they will change it in the future to be like the other classes.

I am hoping when evokers becomes a more wide spread class this becomes a thing. If you want to play a drathyr 100% in dragon form go fo it. Others getting a choice to do so as well or not should not impact you.

Heck, this feels like an argument to how a few expansion ago people were defend X item not being transmoagable because it looked silly or whatever.

Hence why I added Brewmasters because their Fire Breath seem magical in nature as oppose to drinking a brew and igniting it in their mouth or something.

Woah, wasn’t expecting this to get out of hand lol. That’s unfortunate Evoker’s can’t stay in Visage form during battle. I totally understand the abilities are Dragon abilities and it may look odd if an elfman would vomit fire haha. However, I think it could be a good opportunity to think outside the box and think of cool ways for elfman to look good performing dragon abilities. I was thinking like how mages do fire breath or it could be like the dracthyr echos out of the elfman body to perform said dragon ability. I don’t know, I just like the armor and I can’t see it while fighting
