Someone has an itchy trigger finger on that flag button when all thats going on here is asking a question on how the system works with over abusing a certain aspect of it.
Rosefina is liking all of their own posts with every one of their alts, and then flagging the posts they don’t like with every one of their alts.
After a handful of flags, even if they’re all from the same account, the post is hidden. After enough posts in the thread are hidden, it locks pending mod review.
Chances are, once a mod gets around to looking at the thread someone is going to get a wee bit of a forum time-out to settle down.
Blizz won’t do anything about it because the false flagging gives them a pretense to silence voices they personally dislike. I don’t think everyone at Blizz agrees with this system but I’ve been on the receiving end of this treatment before.
That would be interesting. But flagging isn’t private in that Blizzard can see it and act if they so choose. They might think the average forum goer can’t be trusted with that information though.
Might not be alts, might be someone who’s gone running to their discord / guild and yelled for a bit of mob justice.
