Is it possible for my server or zone to be causing my latency issues?

Facing a dilemma right now.

While leveling my mage through Dragonflight on The Scryers server I’m getting hit with regular latency spikes.

Started a warrior on Moon Guard just now and played a little through the WoD starting zone = no spikes from what I can tell.

I’m not really sure though. Maybe lag spikes are easier to tell on a caster class and I just didn’t notice them on a warrior. Or maybe I’m right and it could be my server? If so I may consider a transfer. Just wondering if anyone could chime in with their thoughts.

I’m on stormrage primarily and it’s brutal. I’ve been farming parts for mecha-moguals in motherlode and to loot the end boss had been taking 30 seconds. Zoning in and out is taking way longer too. Auctioning is also taking forever, on the 5 other servers I auction on it’s not as bad.

I do think some servers are having issues today. Area-52 is definitely lagging.

its really bad on stormrage and starting to get really upset and blizzard and their crickets. so many complaining

its def the servers. been trying to say that for months! like for me on mal’ganis that server is a crap ( guess i cant say shi* ) show! ( yes language but idc, someone needs to say it. ) The servers need to be revamped and so forth cuz all we get back from tech support are these stupid responses : did you reset your router, did you contact your ISP and have them look into your internet issues, did you do a DNS flush and so forth… um your joking right… yes, we all have done that. heck some of us even built new rigs and the lag and fps issues are still there. heck the other day i pinged mal’ganis since its based in chicago and it was 8200 MS, 8200 friggin MS!!!

i have better latency scratching my crack then logging into the game thats routed to chicago servers! the issues are level 3 which entices blizzard to fall onto there wee lil heads and say oh, i guess we do have issues with our servers and we do need to fix the issues that stemmed from dragon flight into TWW and now into s2 of TWW. like hell you would think with 75% give or take buying that $90 mount that they could fix their damn servers…

Stormrage just completely went offline while I was questing on it not long ago. Have no issues on other servers. It was not world/home lag we all were having serious loot lag that were playing.
