I’ve been hunting Ristar the Rabid, Mosa Umbramane, and Keen-eyed Cian for the Druid marks.
The last two days, probably 5 or so times I’ve killed Ristar, he hasn’t dropped anything at all/there’s no option to loot him when I hover the cursor over his body. Is this a normal thing that’s just random?
The other two have been lootable, just not Ristar.

there are memes going around about spider eyes and the hooves on how we destroy them in the fights
A lot of rares are only lootable once per day.
I can’t speak to these particular mobs, but that’s what it sounds like you’re hitting.
It took me about a month killing rares daily on two different druids to get the Ristar’s form. Mosa dropped for me pretty quickly and I still haven’t gotten the Keen-Eyed one.
