Is it me or no ones talking about WoW as much

CS2 is new. There was CS, then CS:Source and then CS:GO. So, yes, there has been a lot of CS games, but CS2 is new.

To be fair I don’t hear anybody talking about counterstrike at all.

Except you just now

You forgot the cult classic Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. lol

Blizzard has more or less exhausted or blown their credit rating over the past few years.

Plus there’s only so much you can do with WoW with the lower resources they’re allocated and when you run out of tricks in your playbook.

Stagnation is inevitable. Whatever is left of Retails community are going to be hardcore ones.

Some things should never be mentioned!

I had honestly forgotten about that one. Probably for the best.

bet you you wont.

Counterstrike has been blasting at every internet cafe in the world for the past 23 years.

it’s literally one of the best video games of all time.

it’s up there with Pacman and Tetris.

Hello, I see you posted a thread about video games. Counter Strike has a larger following than WoW does! Getting a sequel for that game is huge considering how long it has been out, haha! It’s like if Riot announced a sequel for League of Legends, you would hear about it everywhere!

Thanks for your post and have a great day!

Bet whatever you want, you are the one not able to see why a game that has a bigger and more anxious following that waited for CS 2 for a long time to an expansion of a game that has become a meme amongst a large portion of people it looks like.

A sequel to WoW would garner much more hype than a friggin expansion of all things lol

This

And this

When WoW started gamers were different.

Younger gamers would rather play minecraft, fortnite, and the such.

I’m going to be honest here. OP has had the best threads on the GD forums all day.

“The Thrill is Gone…”

Like Dubstep.

Dubstep was created so clumsy erratic white people like me looked like we were keeping a rhythm.

All of the talking about WoW happens on this forum.

Shame that Valve still can’t count to 3. /j

Because it’s already been done tool

To answer OP’s topic if he’s serious, games or expansions for MMO’s get hyped, they come, and they go, only of the cycle to repeat for another one. Rarely a game stays for more then just a passing month or two.

I mean the last hyped (in the loosest definition possible given that game’s circumstances) game was a single-player last month ago.

No, not really.
