I have 5 level 60’s so far, it’s extremely easy to get all the daily stuff complete on them all, but gearing could be an issue depending on what resources like guilds etc…you have available.
wod was easier by far. Maybe it’s just you guys coming off of bfa
The only things you have to keep up with on a weekly basis are Torghast and doing enough rated PvP for vault options.
That’s literally it.
Alts only seem overwhelming at the moment when they first hit 60.

Have heard from a lot of friends that this is the most alt friendly xpac they’ve played.
a lot of the critics they received from legion and bfa about alts have been lifted, what i really like is all the torghast upgrades you buy on one toon are account wide so you don’t have to grind maw dailies on all toons 
Only if you started playing in Legion.
It was MUCH EASIER to maintain alts in WoW prior to Legion - especially for PvP.

AAP speed level to the end of 59, realistically takes about 8ish hours give or take an hour. Then go to the threads of fate, talk to the guy and choose that leveling and then do something to get the last tiny bit of XP you need to hit 60 so it skips all the other stuff from the regular questing.
This is the fastest way I’ve been able to level all my characters so far and then the rest of the stuff is easy and fast to do, getting the weekly and dailies done doesn’t take more than an hour or so a day on each toon, even less once you hammer out all the weekly quests.
For me it’s the gearing. I’ve been queuing BGs for most of my spare time the past week or so and I’m still not fully geared.

Gearing through PvP will never be optimal ever again. Go do Myth+
Yea the gearing is brutal unless you have a good guild to raid with, a mythic+ team or like you said BG’s which is probably the fastest if you have a premade.

Then quite frankly you’re refusing to optimize your character, gear as fast as others, experience PVP at it’s full potential and have the best chance at being viable.
Why should I have to run Mythics to optimize my character for PvP?
I’ve been playing a shaman alt and gearing through pvp is really brutal. There’s tons of catchup for everything but raw ilvl and it takes way too much honor to get pieces to 184. I definitely need to take it through a full round of m0s like I did this priest.
You shouldn’t have to I’m just telling you the truth. Look man I am married and in the military I have 3 fur babbies and I still find the time to hop on get to 2300 cr in 3s AND do mythic+. There is time to do it and it doesn’t take that long. You definitely shouldn’t have to but unfortunately you do IFFFFFFFFFFF you want to optimize at the speed of your peers.
Yeah run mythics… You might get an item lol. Ran four 2 2 3 5 my friend got nothing all four runs.
