So we can do 3 dailies, search for a rare every 20 minutes…Oh yeah, and the world boss.
-_-
Kinda like what we’ve been doing with Nyalotha dailies for the last 8 months?
This is just lazy game design, and honestly has me reconsidering purchasing shadowlands. How long did it take them to make this prepatch? a team of 5 guys 40 minutes? What was it like 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and happy hour was about to start?
edit: I notice a lot of responses are “well what did you expect?” or something to that effect. I would just like to point out that, our expectations for new content are so low, that no one is even contesting the prepatch is lame. We ALL AGREE (ok well apparently 1 dude doesn’t. good for him eyeroll ) that it is lame. What we disagree on is, whether or not that should be expected. Isn’t that like… kinda sad? That the entire community’s expectations for a pre-patch are THAT LOW?
I mean, i doubt blizzard would delete a post or get you in trouble just because you have an opinion on their content which isn’t worshipping the ground they walk on.
So yeah ill say it unabashedly.
This is a terrible prepatch, with virtually no content.
Probably took a team of 5 guys less then a week to put it together.
You mean “spend 30 seconds killing rares and over 20 minutes just waiting for them to be killed in 30 seconds and not getting anything from them,” right?
It’s not a loaded statement. I’ve checked the ptr and for the time before we had the pre-patch I begged to have pre-patch delayed because there was nothing to do.
But since we have it now, why do we have to wait 400 minutes for a specific boss if you arrive 2 seconds late?
Honestly I was really excited, but we literally get 2 chances at loot from blightcaller and 2 weeks of daily quests… they really should have started this one drop day so we had actual time to enjoy it. I feel like I’m rushing for all my alts to do it.
Yeah I don’t think you’re wrong here, but it’s just a pre-patch. They had to push back the launch date of the expac just to make sure it wasn’t completely busted. If we have to trade a weaker Pre-Patch for a better Shadowlands start I’ll take it. First impressions are everything.
“I also see that Shadowlands could still be a complete bust, just trying to stay optimistic.”
Is it just me or do people hype up these pre-expansion events in their own heads, then get mad at Blizzard for not meeting their own imaginary expectations?
