It’s weird, it used to be healthily critical of the game but since the beta it’s been flooded with yes-people.
I’m starting to think people that throw the word toxic around at every opportunity are the most toxic of all.
I remember being obsessed with her in 2003. After watching that video, I can’t blame 13 year old me.
Nope, their buzz words that get thrown around far to often by over sensitive sjws, if you disagree, you are that over sensitive sjw that calls everyone they disagree with toxic.
Thinking these cringe words have “significant meaning” and describes “too many people” pretty much confirms this theory.
So sharp. Ouch! Be careful!!
No toxic players back then, only racists
Let them whine, they all will have an active sub. They can all go back to BFA to collect the new cosmetic garbage blizz dangles in front of them.
No, it’s not toxic so long as i post here, i am the barrier that separates us, from the people at Reddit, change my mind.

This forum is a way bigger hellhole than /r/classicwow
Yup. Blizzard forums have a long and storied history of being full of people throwing tantrums because of something blizzard did or didn’t do.

Something about the format and/or culture breeds aggressive behavior.
Which really isn’t that different from the wow forums and anywhere else on the internet.
The only difference is that on these kid-friendly forums you get banned for expressing the obvious hatred and toxicity that exists between posters here, and you’re instead forced to bottle it up, express it through underhanded snide remarks that don’t breach the rules, and carry it back with you in real life.
Or you could like… not hate everyone?
Constant venting and treating people as punching bags are horrible coping mechanisms for stress.

How else do you vent stress?
Interacting with stupid people gives me stress.
^ Making comments like that helps me vent it.
Hence I’m a happy person.

Or you could like… not hate everyone?
This, for the record, is a pretty toxic comment in itself.
It’s amazing how it’s always the most obvious “I’m a good person and everyone should love each other!” people are, in truth, deep down past the charade, the biggest toxic dramaqueens who take everything super serious.

Reddit is mostly a collection of leftist snobs and college grads who form a hivemind opinion about everything.
This, this right here is QFT
I say people were more toxic back in the day. I used to play a lot of WC3 and i ran into a few people that would spam chat the whole match with every racial slur in the book and not get banned, ever. It was the wild west back then, at least now Blizzard does ban and silence people.
Reddit is just a toxic leftist echo chamber. You cannot possibly expect any good to come of ‘discussion’ there.
That said, no matter what Blizzard does, someone will rage and cry. No matter what they don’t do, someone will shriek. If Blizzard admits things didn’t work and changes things, they will gloat that they were vindicated and complain that they didn’t do things sooner. I say this as someone that’s very aware that Blizzard makes mistakes and has dreadful class design in live right now especially but you can’t appease an angry mob of people that just want to complain and hate things/people.
People who say “Toxic” are overgrown babies
Change my mind
Well i am a man child to be fair, but i think it’s fair to use ironically since when i was a kid it had a much harsher meaning compared to now it’s just “This guy hurt my feelings He’s a toxic racist bigot” etc. kinda vibe. I mean you had to do something real bad to get called Toxic when i was growing up.
WoW forums are historically so toxic that they caused a CM to go on an epic rant about how awful people are to each other and then either quit or get fired. If you weren’t around back then look up Tseric on WoW wiki. He is my hero.
It’s mostly just trolls and bitter ex-wow players throwing down.
GD can be just as bad.
