I feel like the game has been so laggy lately. Is it just me? Ill try and duel someone or kill npcs for a quest and it will glitch and cast the dpell but wont send it or i will blink and then just not move but ill hear the sound effect of blink. I tried using a script to help input lag and tho it doesnt seem to help me play more smoothly the game its self seems laggy.
Also, one or two of my action bars constantly are at the top left of my screen every time i log in and i have to move them back to normal. Does anyone know why that is or how i can fix this?
Seems like I’ve been having high ping ever since the Tuesday patch. It’s not as bad on my laptop, but I’ve had periods in dungeons when I lagged for up to 30 seconds at a time. I haven’t lagged since I moved here 3 years ago.
I still got little spkies on my laptop, but not nearly as bad as my pc. Also the phasing was really bad the week before, had a dungeon group in classic timewalking where I couldn’t see anyone. I might have been okay as a rogue, but not as a dk xD. Had to take a 30 minute debuff.
I don’t know if it helps or not Aaria, I think the UI resetting is just a Blizz bug tied to the Dragon Riding inteface, which is the root cause of all of the UI problems according to a ticket I put in during last xpac.
Bartender is for your action bars only, it lets you break them up and move them and also keybinding is a breeze with Bartender.
It a very popular addon and you may want to try it out.
You can always delete it again if it’s not for you.
Some people are seeing lag, others are not. First, try running on another server, one that is not as crowded.
If that doesn’t help then maybe it’s your system. Check the upload, download and ping stats on your internet service. There are test systems available free that will do that. Finally check your own system. I found that when I switched to SSB storage my WoW performance improved dramatically.
I notice some lag off and on. Doesn’t seem to matter where I am or what I’m doing. I just suddenly get hit with lag, though it’s not bad, just a bid of delay between keyboard/mouse and reaction on game. My latency though is normal 15-18 home and world. (One day for a bit I had 20 World, but only for about an hour.)
I don’t use addons, I dislike them. They take up too much of my time, updating constantly (it feels like.) Setting them up.
I don’t raid or do group content. I don’t really have any use for them. Used to use a few, but it was just too much work. My play time is precious. I don’t like wasting it.
My computer (Internet Security) will not allow Curse, so I have to use other sites for downloads.
I’m wondering if maybe some of the addons might be increasing lag issues?
(On my old computer they definitely did, but that was a few years ago.)
It’s a server issue, lots of people I know have noticed it too. Also if you’re in a guild it’s especially bad because of that stupid bug blizzard has still not fixed where the entire guild will go offline then back online.
