For MMO’s, players should form a coalition led by rational, mindful and responsible players. Everyone knows by now what the darkside of MMO’s are all about. Make sure the company and development team know when and where the lines shouldn’t be crossed by collectively canceling them should they decide otherwise. Isn’t that where we’re at on planet earth, 2021?

which is meaningless… so they notice the terms we’re using, are they able to do anything about it? They’ve never been able to balance anything and with the complicated interaction of systems they insist is the way to design a game, they’ll never be able to. They might be willing, but that may not be enough to retain the playerbase. It’s at a critical state right now (if not already too late) and it’s a pretty big ship to turn.

Yeah again not paying money for it and I have a family member linked to my account so it shares achievements…you know becuase I have to justify myself to a random… you are clearly happy with being blizzards money bag beat stick, so good for you!
I imagine they sit around and make jokes at the office about stuff that is said here too. I can just imagine at the end of the meeting Ion stands up and asks if anyone has any suggestions, someone is surely to say “fire Ion”. lol
The very fact that the Game Director decided to publicly use a term which makes fun of one of the core features of Shadowlands is telling.
Even if he used it sarcastically, it’s a start.
There is a lot of fodder lol, I would too. Heck I do with my friends who don’t go to the forums

Like I said, regardless of the way he used it, the fact that he used it is a telling sign that they know what the community is speaking about.
i actually don’t mind this. i don’t love it, but i don’t hate it either.
what i don’t like is they keep changing our title from expansion to expansion. i can’t remember what we were called back in MoP, but in WoD it was commander, then general, then in legion it was whatever the highest-rank our class could be, then in BfA it was champion and alliance emissary/speaker of the horde, now it’s maw-walker and just… gettin sick of it.

That is a fair question and one I am happy to answer, hope dude, I check in time to time hoping that something good is gonna happen, hoping that people finally tell blizzard they have had enough, hope that a game I was so passionate about for some many years isn’t reduced to a cash grab, i seen the signs for years about what was happing but i chose blissful ignorance over voicing an opinion and it was wrong to do that. I would argue with mates for hours who had left wow for ESO and FF14 because they were not emotionally involved with the game as I was. And it’s finally enough for me the last few months I have played less and less and have been struggling more and more to find a reason to even log on, It hurts to say that I have finally had enough
That is my genuine answer.

The tragic this I’m more than willing to spend money on a game if I’m having fun and don’t feel like it is just stretching out my wallet
Like I’ll happily buy some random junk on the store in GW2 because the prices don’t feel insane and there is no sub attached to it, I can also buy the in game currency with gold too and the conversion rate feels fair
But like the services in WoW are insanely expensive, some of them cost about the same or more than the xpac
Hell 2 mounts on the store costs like the same as the xpac

You have way more hope than I do. I’ve just seen this before - they do get reports on the forums from Lore whose job it is to be a liason (apparently one-way).
I’m not saying I quit and it’s hopeless, I’m just seeing empty worlds compared to 5 months ago and not a lot of fixing the issues coming with 9.1 which is so long-delayed there should be more fixes.
Also, I’m not trying to squash your hope, just warning you that your heart may be broken.
Looking at your post history, I think it’s time for a nap, that’s what it is. lol
