Why do people buy it? Its so easy to level up. lol is it even worth it anymore? when reaching max level is just like 1% of the end game?
It’s late on a Sunday. You used to try so much harder…
0/10
I might buy it so I can get to 60 instead of wasting like a month of my time.
Some people have limited time. Some just absolutely hate leveling. Others have other reasons.
If they have the money and are happy with skipping then it’s all good and worth it to them.
Levelling is dumb, at this point in an endgame-driven mmo 60 boosts should be free and the option to level should be something those who want it can select at the character creation imo
most of the fun starts at endgame. i can earn $60 or whatever it costs much faster than i can level to 60. i have much less free time than i have spare cash. so yeah it’s an easy decision. (i haven’t bought a boost but it’s not pointless to me.)
People are lazy and sone have disposable income… though that’s around 108 jack In the box tacos.
Save that money for a few tokens and buy some carries. That’s my advice.
This is something I think many people don’t consider. For a good many people it’s only 3-4 hours of work.
The thought of that makes my stomach clench (though I like the sourdough jack burger).
I don’t get it either, but, eh, it’s not hurting me any so /shug. I just wish they sold additional character slots per account (as long as the price isn’t stupid).
i mean, the point isn’t that it’s difficult to level up, it’s that it’s time-consuming and not fun for some of us. i’ve leveled dozens of characters and played ever class and almost every spec. my goal is to get to end-game, which i do enjoy. if i’ve got 8 hours of free time this weekend, i’d rather spend it doing something fun on my new alt than leveling to 50 or whatever and then being out of time.
Easy, yes. Time Consuming, Yes.
Some can level faster than others. But we are literally talking instantly boosted.
Back in Legion I paid $60 twice to have boosts done.
It was not that I could not level them to 100 (at the time that was the boost level) but it was more of being impatient and wanting those characters to be able to help farm transmogs and mounts right away.
Just thought I would share my reason for purchasing those boosts. All of my alts since then I have leveled up on my own.
Yes.
Buy boosts for every toon you create Outrageously worth the money.

I can more money IRL than what a boost costs within the same timeframe that it takes for me to Lvl a character to 50 or 60, so financially speaking I’m incentivized to not play the game. This is why boosts are bad tbh.
Imagine designing all this time walking chromie stuff only to still have boosts, then we wonder why the world is dead.
So many people have left the game at this point though that it’s too late to go back, now they really should & need to funnel players into the most modern content available.
It’s kind of like tequila…
I’ve done it, I regret it, I’ll inevitably do it again, even though it cost too much and I more than likely to never play the boost after a few weeks of fun.
Are you running out of ideas on your rolodex anon
They buy it for various reasons.
Ease/convenience.
Mount etc…

Doesn’t it only take 3-4 game sessions now to go from level 1 to queued for M+? That doesn’t sound like it’s worth the price to me, but I can see how it can work for others. It just depends on their priorities right?
I enjoyed the leveling experience the way it was, warts and all, over the new streamlined system. I wish they would’ve enhanced the boatload of content they already had versus trying to hurry players passed it.
There’s some really fun stuff to do prior to Shadowlands, and not everyone is into group content. Hopefully they add to Chromie time or something similar in the upcoming patches.
Cheaper to upgrade your Shadowlands and get a boost there if you haven’t used one already.

I hear these stories but that kind of thing doesn’t happen to most of us, if at all.
