Basically I am torn between certain race/class combos and specializations, making 1 character per certain class quite frustrating to think about.
So I wanted to play shadow priest this xpac and then realized wait, void elves make such cool shadow priests damn. As I only previously played disc as a priest I was undead and undead disc priests are super cool, yet void elf disc priests are not nearly as cool.
So, I decided I’ll have my void elf shadow priest and have my undead for disc. I did this similarly for my shaman cuz I really always want to be an orc shaman, as that’s my main, but I also have this panda for alliance.
Add all of this to the fact I play hpal and frost mage with some casual rogue. I’m up to leveling my 7th level 80 and wow is my only game right now, but having a job and all I’m like was it a good idea to have this many characters?
Nah, it’s a video game. Do whatever you enjoy.

I have three monks - One for each role.
It’s your money. You play the game how you want to.

Yes you are crazy.
Scrambles to hide 5 hunters at 60 from SL prior play. 1 80 hunter as of last night.
they won’t be lonely…horde needs one as well. Which of the 3 horde 60’s moves on is my new question.

No it makes perfect sense. My biggest issue with my druid right now is… I want to play both balance and feral… but I’m stuck with one raid lockout per week, 1 vault item, I will have to farm separate weapons, trinkets, tier legs (for enchant, and you can’t roll need once you already have one of them), rings and necks have different stat priorities, might need separate embellishments (haven’t looked it up for s2 yet), and so forth. I’d also prefer a different race for each spec which would mean a different faction.
So yeah, I’m playing a class where I only want to play one spec right now and shelved the druid, but really, I need to roll a second one if I ever want to play it again.
I had 5 druids last xpac on 2 servers with all 4 specs played actively.
Yea. There is a Hunter in my guild who plays 5 hunters. They dont play any other classes. And they gear one, then start playing the others and repeat each patch.
Hunters for me tied into massive legacy raid farming setups. the good old days before SL…it paid quite well.
Set up trailblazer speed bonus…run through John wick style clearing out the place and loot.
Druids were good legacy cleaners too.
I have one of each class per faction (so two total) and I try to do different races on each one.

I play 2 priest at the start of a season just to get the LFR transmogs on the lowbie for my main to use. Getting a handful of vault slots on an alt doesn’t take long, and there’s always a chance at non-tier raid xmogs as well.
That sounds completely deranged but I respect the commitment. Based/10
If thats crazy then I must be insane… I have 3 paladins, 3 warriors, 3 death knights, 3 shaman, 3 hunters, 3 evokers, 3 rogues, 3 druids (will have 4 eventually, dont know what race I want my Balance druid to be…), 2 demon hunters, 2 monks (maybe one day I’ll make a windwalker), 3 mages, 3 warlocks, & 2 priests (one day I’ll make a Holy priest again)
this is the way. especially as the game tacked on faction based mogs lol.
classic for me got funky. Its the pve server set of classes, and some pvp server ones. I don’t make pvp my main play server. when pvp happens too much, pve is there to workhorse it. Its my warmode workaround. I turn pvp off going to atiesh lol.

Welcome to the slide into altoholics.
I have many, since I wanted to see the starting story for each race. Then get the heritage gear, so leveled the toon…
Only heritage I haven’t bothered to pursue waz troll because I rather disliked it, especially the face. Eventually will for completion, but so much else to do in the little time to play.
