Im in the south of the US and why is it 26 degrees mid feburary. I moved from the north to escape the cold. ;( i want warmth not cold i hate the cold

I’m located up northeastern US. Currently it feels like 3 degrees outside. We about to go out and wait for the bus. /shivers

Same. I’m sick of the winter. I don’t look forward to the summer humidity, but I’m truly sick of the wind and cold.

Hits all the check boxes here getting the mail (30ft hike both ways phew!)…even then I fear that I will freeze and be found in the bushes as in “The Shining”.

Currently 14 here in NE US, I am NOT looking forward to taking the dog out in a couple hours, ugh…
I am very done with winter and would like temps back up in the 50s at least.

My spouse likes the cold too. But for me it gets really icy around here and it scares me because I know if I fall I’m not getting back up.

Yea not a fan of the ice or when it rains then drops to 0. Make up your mind winter.
But hiking local trails by the house in a snow storm or legging it out in a polar vortex mid day? Hook it to my veins.

It is 31 degrees outside this morning as of typing this message.
We’re supposed to get “a lot of snow” over the next 24 to 36 hours, but we’ll see if it sticks.
We did get a few inches of snow a few weeks ago that stuck for a few days.

ugh…supposed to be this way up thru Saturday.
Could be worse, I suppose, if more snow gets dumped.
Most of what we got melted when it warmed up a little, so here its just the cold thing for now.
This crap belongs on a post card or a magazine cover…not my yard, lol
and here Im whining about single digits lol.
Id have to move if it was getting below 0 too often.
Lived in upstate NY for about three years a couple decades ago. Never do that again lol
